Well there is a bit of a story that goes with that particular shot... we got to spend lots of time with Jack... he was great!
Well we (meaning ME) bantered with him for a few minutes and then my DH said loudly~ Where's the Rum?
Jack: With a wife like this I see your need for rum mate

Just as he said that and I looked at him funny as he had JUST insulted me... and SNAP there went the pic
I love that pic as it is funny... everyone else is looking at the camera and I am checking out Capt jack hehe

OHHHHH! I AM SO MAD RIGHT NOW!!

Just got back from taking my daughters to get their professional dance photos. It is all the dancers and their classes etc. A entire studio full of loud little girls and STRESSED moms.

Well- I have to remember ballet shoes, clogging shoes, jazz shoes, two skirts etc, etc and of course I forget something...Lily's tutu (sp? have no idea right now) I of course freak and one of my friends says not to worry because they can take their individual photo in whatever skirt they want and then a group photo with the little jazz skirt (which was MUCH cuter) This mom (who I later find out is a grandma) says...I just think they look much cuter in the tutu so I feel they should wear that instead. (this is a outfit that they can wear the tutu for ballet and then switch skirts for jazz..same outfit different skirt) Are you kidding me??? You want my daughter to be the only one in the picture with a different skirt because you think the other skirt is cuter????? She continues to tell the other mothers that the girls are wearing the tutu.

I am freakin MAD by this time. I know I was in the wrong for forgetting the skirt but I would never let a child feel left out or look left out.

Thank goodness Lily is tough. She just went right up there and posed with the best of them. If that had been Lexi...she would have cried like a baby.

People can be sooo rude.

Oh tell me about it! We do dance here and those mom's can be FREAKS about their kids!
Ryan LOVES dance ...I dont care that he loves it so much but hey whats a mom to do.... he actually quit after 4 years of it because the moms kept arguing who was going to dance center stage with him... see when your the only boy in the class you automatically get to be the center
it drove him nuts ...all the yelling and fighting over who was going to dance with him.... he didnt care he just wanted to dance. Oh I could go on and on the stories my poor son put up with trying to learn to dance... he still loves it but refuses to do the classes anymore

Oh he is also into football so he isn't a GIRLIE GIRL
He is a total jock... anything physical he enjoys and dance was one of them ... thought I would mention that

Savannah asked to join his crew and Jack put his hand up right over her head and said..."you have to be".... then he looked at me and raised his hand so it was over my head... "this tall to ride this ride"

I love all the new pics on the FAQ thread BUT...and BIG BUT.... and I know Chan thought of this cause if I thought of it she has already gagged over it ...

that pic of the towel animal toothbrush thingy... its really cute and all BUT...err... I dont want no stranger touching my dang blasted toothbrush ... i mean ewwwww .... she is cleaning other peoples rooms and ..did she wash her hands before she grabbed that toothbrush?!?!?!!?!?!?

Have you guys seen the Kite runner yet?

I watched it while I was doing my laundry and talk about a disturbing film.... I liked it but some of you may not as it has lots of sub titles....

Anyone else see it? what did you think of it?

It was really good but just really disturbing...

Guys...about the "who"......it's somebody- but one one of us (don't worry P,,,I am not a backstabber, I wouldn't betray one of US)....it's an outsider.....Kelly knows. We've laughed about it before....it's not an unfriendly presence at least.

Dawn - Happy baseball game!! My W/D is doing better today....DH had to do something to the vent pipe thing....he is going to do more over the weekend....somethign isn't right. Luckily he is Mr. Fixit. He can fix anything.

OMG....YES, hide your toothbrush!!! You're right!! They mess with them. They straighten up and make things cutesy but they do touch things.....they are super sweet ladies, but ya....after seeing what I"ve seen on TV it does make me think...... The safe sounds good....I started putting mine in it's case in my makeup case.

I try to stay away from "disturbing" anything.

Today was the first morning I could sleep in, I am sure your kids are off too! We have tomorrow also for a snow day.

You must be so HAPPY!

No, my son was off last Thursday and Friday for snow days and this Monday and Tuesday for something else Tomorrow he has a half day due to the monthly staff meeting (first Friday of each month) and next Friday he's off for some other stupid reason. They have SO MANY days off!

We leave for WDW two days after school ends. The early childhood dept ends on June 10th while the rest of the school goes to the end of June.

No White Sox, BUT we do love the Red Sox here in our house. The year the White Sox won the WS we went to the first game here in Chicago again the RS...my son was in heaven! Unfortunately, our other son is a Cubs fan so we have quite a rivalry here in our house!
