Having a computer problem....can anyone help?

Okay, I know this isn't a technology board or a technical difficulties board. But hey, I always go to the DIS for help with anything. I am having trouble with my other laptop connecting to the Internet. It connects to our router and then we get the error message that says "Connected to the router but not the Internet" then we can not get on the Internet with that computer but we can with all of the others. It has been driving me nuts!!! Is there anyone who has had this problem and can help me out?

This actually happens to me fairly often. I typically go to my wireless manager and disconnect and reconnect again. Don't know why, but that typicaly takes care of the problem.

We have to do this every once in a while. I just disconnect the power cord and plug it back in.

I have also had to call my internet provider and have them reset the router remotely.

Wireless or lan cable? Whatever way you connect try the opposite, see if it works.
