Hi,

At MGM, do any of the table service restaurants have a bar in them, with bartenders? After the NYE fireworks, I'd love to sit back and have a cocktail while I wait for the crowds to die down - any suggestions?

And if I want to instead have a nice dessert and a cup of coffee, should I/can I make an ADR for that?

There is a bar between Hollywood and Vine and Prime Time. More like the
Prime Time Lobby. If you want to sit at a table for dessert and coffe I would make an adr. Have a great time.

Unfortunately the bar at the Prime Time is generally ALWAYS filled with people waiting to get in to the restaurant, which is too bad for those looking for your kind of respite (at any time of the year). I do not believe that any other TS restaurant at the studios actually has a lounge (possibly the Brown Derby has a very small seating area in the back, but I am not sure).

What you could do is make ADRs at any of the studio restaurants if you want a drink/coffee/dessert after the fireworks. I think that would be your best alternative.

Thanks, I will do just that! It was almost 3 am by the time we got out of the parking lot at Epcot the last time we did NYE (3 years ago), and I'm not thinking that MGM will be much different. Fun, but really, really crowded!

why not park at dolphin/swan that night. (you may have to pay to park, but it may be worth it).... that way you can walk back from MGM, and I'm sure the trip out of their lot will be a lot shorter... I believe you can park there if you are not a guest in the hotel.... additionally, they have some great bars (Shula's, BlueZoo in Dolphin, and a great Sushi bar in Swan)....

You are so smart, sister! Apart from the bongo board incident, of course :teeth: . Maybe you can join me!

The bar at the Prime Time Cafe is pretty good, and I've always been able to get a couple of seats at the bar.
