We are leaving on May 29th for Disney. That's18 day away including today. We still haven't received our package of stuff from Disney with all our tickets and info. Should I be worried? Should I call someone?
Thanks!

You're fine. They are usually out in the mail 21 days or so in advance, so it should be to you any day now!

how long ago have you ordered it? if you ordered it a long time ago, then i would call someone to see what's going on. better to be safe then sorry.

When I ordered mine for last trip, WDTC send it UPS and they actually CALL you the day before they're going to send it to remind you that you need to be home because someone needs to sign for it.. Which was a lot of help to me to remind me that I need to be home..

But I would call if you don't get it soon just to be safe..

When you book has nothing to do with when WDTC sends the package unless its within 3 weeks of your travel date.

If you are really concerned call, but I would give it a couple more days.

I would call right away. This happened to me. What I found out was that they did NOT automatically charge the rest of my package to my credit card, as I thought they were going to. I called at about 16 days out, like you, and they said, "Hmm, it's coming up on the computer as failure to make final payment." I was like, WHAT???? I'd missed the "deadline" to make the payment. Luckily they didn't care about the deadline, they were happy to have me on the phone to authorize final payment on the credit card on which I'd made the deposit. I was really shocked and surprised that they hadn't called or e-mailed to ask, or to alert me that the payment was due. I had been under the impression that my account would be automatically charged for the remainder, but they said, "Oh, no, you need to call and authorize."

Crazy. Anyway, it all worked out fine and I got my package a couple of days later.

Let us know what you find out!

Edit: You know, though, I just recalled I booked through Costco, so maybe that had something to do with the silliness.

received our docs. Our TA said that she called to add on some meal vouchers and they were just getting ready to fedex docs to her. Both costco and my TA then have to send to us. I really hope that we don't have to sign anything because we certainly aren't at home anymore. We did receive already the confirmation from our TA that all (including meal vouchers) had been paid by CC. I'll let you know when we get our docs. By the way, where are you staying?

My problem is this is a really busy week for me. I'll be out of town a day and a half and then in and out at my sons school and Thursday I'll be out all day. I don't have time to sit and wait on them! :) Although it would give me an excuse to do just that and slow down a bit
We are staying at the Motel 6 by DL. NOthing fancy but it's a good neighbor hotel and has everything we need!
i might call later tonight or tomorrow to check on it just to be safe

I would call. Mine came 2 and a half weeks in advance, ordered through disneyland.com. I recieved a notice from UPS that they tried to deliver. So I called and arranged to pick it up from them and did so on my lunch. Didn't get much work done that afternoon...

I panic every trip. I love getting the package it is so exciting. It makes the trip all the more real. I think that is why I book with Costco and Disneytravel.

Exactly what type of documents do they send you. I booked by phone and I guess I just assumed they email the info (I did receive a confirmation email) but I have not received anything else, I just thought I would get the tix etc when I arrived. Should I be looking for something in particular in the mail? TIA

It may depend on where you ordered from. I received a wide folder that included the plastic park hoppers, DTD coupons, PS for Aladin, tickets for TTMM, tickets to redeem free lanyards in the park, one gold coin, and luggage tags.

You booked a package directly with Walt Disney Travel Company (aka disneyland.com)? If so, or if you used AAA or Costco (both use WDTC with their own "twist" on inclusions), you will get a packet including a piece of paper that states it is vital for checking into the hotel, you'll get the tickets, you'll get the Dream Coin (silly IMO), vouchers for DTD discount usually, possibly preferred seating vouchers for aladdin, muppets, and 2 other DCA shows), things like that. Depending on who you used, the vouchers for lanyards will give you different lanyards...our Costco lanyards were light blue with white writing...AAA lanyards I saw were bright red, and I'm forgetting what the direct WDTC lanyards I saw looked like.

Especially with the tickets, it's very valuable!

If you reserved your rooms you will receive vouchers for your rooms listing every member of your party. I always enjoy going through the envelope and looking at everything. I also think we received a fold down pocket map of the parks. The WDTC lanyards are like a royal blue with white letters.

Was it the Disneyland Hotel or Disney Travel? I think that would make a difference. If it was Dsiney Travel then yes that sounds about right.

sorry, yes, I phoned so I guess Disney Travel, not the hotel directly. Thanks so much!

You are very welcome. Have a great trip at the Happiest Place on Earth! By the way where are you staying? My DH and I are going to stay onsite in September. I am so excited. We usually stay at the Disneyland Hotel with our DK's but this trip I am planning for us to stay at the Grand California.

We will be staying at the Disneyland Hotel! Very excited. Another question, when should I call the hotel and request a room location? I would like to stay in the Dreams Tower if possible. I have a lower level pool view room booked and I understand I can put in a request for the room location, is that correct?
