Disney doesn't accept outside vendor deliveries any longer. So, even if there another company, they couldn't deliver either. Now, a way around it is, if you have a rental car, you can order a basket from Shirley and pick it at the shop and bring it onboard with you.

No more under 3 year olds in Oceaneer's, also.

luckily my youngest turns 4 next week and he'll be 5 by cruise time!! no more nursery = although we had GREAT experiences with the nursery. as well as the clubs!

Adult pools/hottubs close at 10pm. I believe some of the other pools have had altered/reduced hours.

Palo/Remy prices are up.

The arcades are being removed from ships, but I have a suspicion that this won't affect you, anyway.

Smoking is no longer allowed on the verandas. There are designated smoking areas. If it rains, you will get wet while you are trying to enjoy your cigar / cigarette.

Character breakfasts, I thought they were gone, but it sounds like they may be trying them again, not sure if it will stick though.

You have to get tickets for these now. You also have to get tickets for some of the other M&Gs after you board the ship, such as Frozen & princesses.

That was it, and it is a bummer that they don't advertise this very well. When we were on a Christmas season cruise, we found out too late that to do a gingerbread house was a ticketed thing, and we had been waiting for it to show up on a navigator.

Do they post the items that you need to get tickets for somewhere? If something is too verbose in the navigator I probably don't read it well. If I know what to look for it would help me out, then again so would paying attention lol.

Information on what events need tickets are listed in the Navaigator you will receive the day you board. It's on the front page under "Don't Miss"

All meet & greets/character breakfasts that require tickets are indicated on the front page of the Navigator (generally on the middle right-hand side). The gingerbread house making was listed in the back of the navigator our Christmas cruise.

I really wish they would have had the gingerbread on the front, but since the availability is probably very limited I get them putting it on the back. Would be nice though if that front section was a one stop shop for ticketed events.

It did work out for us though, since we were I believe the first Christmas season cruise, we got to see them decorate a good portion of the gingerbread house and I was very impressed with the dedication of the head pastry chef and his team:)

I believe the tickets for the meet and greats happened within the last year or so, I am guessing due to the popularity of some of the princesses. Others can chime in with the timing of this, my daughter was never one to wait in line to get pictures with a princess or a character, we just always loved the very random shots you sometimes got when out and about.

honest to god, you should not have to have tickets for a meet and greet on a cruise or even have to worry about it....you are supposed to relax!!!!
They recently started the meet & greet tickets for those characters that had massive lines. For the most part it's been happily received. Not all meet & greets require a ticket. In fact there are only 2, generally, on most cruises (the big Princess group meet & greet, and Anna & Elsa). All other characters (including individual princesses) have the "regular" line ups.

There are plenty of character greetings that don't require a ticket. As Shmoo said the ticketed ones are the most popular and keeps people from having to wait in long lines. You will be assigned a time and then no wait
