Not exactly sure if your stay will be done before Space Mountain and HM close for Halloween refurb or not, I know they will be closed for my stay.

I haven't been since Nov 2008 and will be going on 9/10.....I've been trying to check out any threads that have to do with changes/refurbs but it is hard to read everything.

I was wondering if we were going to see water again in the lagoon? I heard they would start filling it around Labor Day?

I just read in an update a few days ago that said they were hoping by October now. I hope it's before then, we go in 3 weeks and would love to see it full again!

Small World went through a re-furb and added Disney characters. It's worth checking out. Tinkerbell and her fairy friends greet guests at the new Pixie Hollow between Buzz and Matterhorn. Also, the fireworks show is different. Instead of RDCT, we now have "Magical", but honestly I wish they would bring back RDCT. Over at DCA, there are lots of changes going on including construction on the new "Cars"-themed land and the lagoon for World of Color. Of course, you can't miss the giant Mickey face on the old Sun Wheel. I'm sure there's more, but others will add on.
