Haven't been in 2 yrs. What changes to strategy should I be mindful of?

We are at 90 days out. (Going early Sept) That means that DD15 and I need to get on planning out park touring itineraries so we know which FP+s to be prepared to jump on and what our time preferences for those will be.

We consider ourselves WDW vets but...in the 2 yrs since our last trip, some changes have been made & I'm kinda in the dark as to how these will affect our usual style of touring. For example, is TSMM added a 3rd track. Does that change ability to get to ride it 2x in one day? We used to schedule a FP+ but also do a rope drop ride, so we'd get to do it twice.
Soarin has a 3rd theater. Epcot has TT, Soarin and will have the new Frozen ride in Norway all as tier 1s. How should this be done? AK will be open til 11pm on the day we are there. (I got a Tusker dining pkg for that). These and other changes to all four parks are likely to cause us to "tweak" the norm of park touring plans.

So, give me your ideas. I've always learned so much here on DISboards! Looking forward to hearing your tips and ideas. TIA

We are also going this fall and also haven't been in two years. I've been following the blog posts at easywdw and I plan to use Josh's recommendations. From what I can tell, the changes you've mentioned are so new, that people are still figuring things out, but Josh always has interesting insights.

Yes, I love Josh's site too. His recommendations always come with "the reason WHY" he recommends such and such. Ya, those of us going in Sept are kind of in a "wait and see" mode with a lot of the new stuff.... yet we have to pick FP+ in a month. All the more reason to be on the watch for any tips that come out in the next 30 days! Thanks for your reply.
