Haven't been here in eons, a few questions if I may....

We cruised the Magic in early December 2001. We are now planning to cruise again the same time next year (2006). When we booked the cruise, we used DVC points and were able to get a "deal," I think it was called Fall Fantasy rates. If I recall correctly, these rates were offered the spring prior to our sailing and DVC put the extra points we had "paid" with prior to the special being offered back into our use year.

Can you please tell me, are these specials still offered? We plan on paying cash this time, rather than use our points. Are these specials offered to cash customers?

I just received a mailer the othe day with Fall 2005 rates starting at $799 per adult for the 7 night eastern cruise from 9/17-12/10/05. (Cat. 12 room). For this, you have to book by 3/31/05.

I hope this helps a bit.

Welcome back PixieDusting! We first cruised on DVC points in 2000 during a rate "cut" but I have not see once since. In fact, points continue to rise each year. I know that people say that cruising is not a good use of your points but that is what I choose to do with them.

As far as 2006 goes, I don't think the point sheet is out yet.
