Yes. It is our home resort and we love it.

We like that it is a quiet and relaxing theme, after a day at the parks, that is what we like. If we want to do something else, we just walk over to DTD. I find it visually striking, the layout, hotel, and landscaping are beautiful.

Everyone has their own likes and dislikes - but we love SSR. We have gone to some of the others (OKW & BWV), and hope to try them all, but SSR is home sweet home.

Our family loves SSR. We have two teenagers and travel with two more. Of all the resorts (other than Vero) they are most eager to return there. The proximity to DTD and the Community Hall keep them busy the whole vacation. Both the Congress Park and the Grandstand pool areas are wonderful. I think that the Congress Park pool is one of the prettiest quiet pools of the DVC resorts (I also like the one at VWL). We found as the kids get older they are happier at the quiet pools than the feature pools. They always head to the feature pools for a few runs down the slides etc but for hanging around time they like the quiet pools better.

As far as restaurants, Turf Club is wonderful. We also like Artist's Palette. We usually eat breakfast in the room so we haven't been around for the crowds in the morning. The set up is not the best but the food is great.

We are SSR owners but I don't think I'm biased so much. Other than BCV and HH (haven't spent much time at either) I think I could write a glowing report on all of them. Depends on what type of vacation we are after at that point in time.
