Have you started wrapping presents?

I guess it is the paper crafter in me. I love to wrap & decorate presents. They are really part of the Christmas decorations at my house. The snag this year is that DS2 has discovered the joy of unwrapping! I can't leave him alone near them.

I am about 1/4 of the way finished. Have you started yet?

Yes and no. We did Christmas with KAMommy and her crew Saturday (2 days ago), so those have been wrapped (and then UN-wrapped). Other than that, we haven't wrapped any. I'm hoping to work on that a few nights this week!

I have started to wrap already with the help of dd13. She likes to wrap. I would LOVE to really decorate them with ribbons and bows however the cat thinks the ribbons and bows are there for HER to play with:cat: ...so I don't put them on.

i have very few wrapped. it's hard because i can not do it with ds(5) around and he has the majority of the gifts. so i'm going go with i have really nothing wrapped. i did wrap my dad's because they have to go in the mail this week.
i wish i wrapped as i went along, and i say that every year and never do!

I haven't started the actual wrapping yet. I made the tags for everyone and I made "crayon boxes" to hold gift cards. I was going to wrap everything today, but the superintendent cancelled school due to the weather so the kids are home. It will have to wait until tomorrow, but it will all be done this week.

Wrapped? I'm still shopping! I order alot from online, so the boxes are piling up...I like to leave them around to torture DS15 :lmao: Every time the mail, or ups man brings a new box, we have the traditional shaking, followed with "Is this one for me?" It's so much fun!! I'm guilty of it too...DS and I play fight over who gets to shake the boxes addressed to DH. Goofy traditions at my house....

As for the wrapping, I use ribbons and bows. I make sure that every giftie has ribbon around it. It helps to slow things down on "The Day". As the kids got older, the size of the gifties got smaller. Our tree didn't look as impressive without all those big boxes full of large plastic toys...CDs and DVD are just so much smaller, so I also hide gifts inside other boxes, under tshirts or jammas...

Gotta keep them guessing :santa:

Oh yes, we have almost all of our pressies wrapped. DD 7 LOVES to wrap and does a really good job. I am pretty particular about how they are wrapped and she has the technique down. So much so she fussed at DH when he was doing it wrong!! :lmao: All the presents get hand tied bows and the gift tags are made with my Cricut.

What presents? Ok, it's not as bad as that but I'm definitely behind this year so the answer is "no presents wrapped" and no packages mailed.

I will start wrapping tomorrow with what has been purchased so far.. This weekend is my last shopping trip except for the stocking stuffers and fruit...but anyway, I was gonna wrap today but the kids used all my tape on what they wrapped and is under the tree..but NO ONE told me we needed more tape, so I took a nap!

Ok, off to get started on the day, run to the post office and the store to get tape...and than work on DH's scrapbook for Christmas....

Nope not yet but we just decorated this weekend so once I finish my Christmas cards up this week wrapping is next. I am almost done shopping with most of whats left already on order so it will be here soon.

Well I have 6 of my families (Mom, DB, DSIL and DNephew) wrapped. I had 8 wrapped, but my 2 yo Dd has also discovered the joy of unwrapping. :) So I probably won't be wrapping any of my Dd's presents much before Christmas Eve. I do need to finish up wrapping my families presents though b/c I have to get those into the mail this week!

I wrapped the ones to my DSis's family because I had to mail them last week. We have two whole presents here and they are wrapped. The boys had NO list this year. Nothing. Nada. So we are going with memberships to the Cincinnati Museum & Zoo.

My boys are spoiled. They don't have to wait for things because if we don't get, Mimi does. Luckily they know they are spoiled and that is why they didn't ask for anything for Christmas.

I haven't wrapped anything. I did buy wrapping paper which is better than normal.

wrap gifts?!?!?:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I haven't even started shopping yet! LOL Well maybe a little but nothing much. I guess I better get a move on.

I have the kids presents wrapped and under the tree. The big stuff that santa is bringing is in my MIL's basement. She is actually taking the kids for the night on Saturday so we will finish up then. My kids don't go in her basement so the big gifts are safe.
I still don't know what to get my DH's grandparents. I was going to get them some BINGO markers as they play bingo all the time. I am stuck for anything else besides pictures of the kids.

Cindy

I haven't wrapped anything yet, but I do plan to wrap what I have so far in the next couple of days.

I'm doing pretty good on the shopping. I have one more run to make tomorrow or Wed and I should be done. Then it's just waiting for the online purchases to trickle in.

Thanks to a sn*w (read that ICE) day, I had the privilege of wrapping all my presents between shovelling the back and the front. I have everybody finished with the exception of 3 co-workers and 2 or 4 yet to be named extended family names from the name draw. I can't get them anything until I know who they are. ;)

I made tags on my Cricut. Yay! I just have to finish popping out the cutouts it made and tie them to all the packages. That's going to take time-the ribbons.

Conversely, I have put up NO Christmas decorations. I was out of town for Turkey day and last weekend as well. We'll be gone for Christmas, so there'd only be 2 weeks to have it all up... so I'm not sure I'll bother. Sigh.

I am done, everything is wrapped, tagged (Cricut too) and in the big boxes for the trip up north. I put the ribbons/bows on and put gifts into gift bags when we get to WA so they don't get crushed. The few gifts for teachers/friends extra here in CA are also ready to go and under our tree.
