Have you started Christmas Shopping yet?

Yes, I have started my Christmas shopping. I'm well on my way to done, I just have to get a couple of things for my parents and DH's presents. But DH is easy--pretty much an Amazon.com order for him, and he's done. :)

Haven't started shopping yet, but I have started pricing things and making a list for things DS wants or might like (so I don't forget since everyone asks me what he wants!).

We have bought some gifts. We got DBF's mom and dad done at Disney. His siblings just do the kids exchange so his nephew is done. Bought that at Disney too! We bought DS's first Christmas present the other day. We know he wants this game but it flew off the shelves. When we saw one, we grabbed it. My plan is to be done before the baby is born. I am due December 2nd. I really don't want to go shopping with a newborn.

I would vote "D". Haven't given it any thought yet.

I typically don't shop until early December. We don't have many to buy for, and I enjoy going shopping when the stores are all decorated and playing Christmas music.

I'm about half done with my shopping. We buy for 30 friends and family, so it helps that I shop year 'round. I store the gifts in Rubbermaid tubs in the guest room closet, and I've probably filled 5-6 already. I keep a running tally on my computer of what gifts I've bought in advance, ideas for gifts for each person, and keep track of how much I spend on each gift/person. I love having it all neatly organized. I love Christmas and do my shopping early so that I can spend the whole month of December enjoying the season, not stressing over what gifts to buy.

I keep a tiny spiral notebook (one of those about 3" x 4" ) in my purse with a list of names of everyone we buy for. As I get something, I jot it down next to their name. That way, I can tell all the time who I have bought for, how much I spent and what I have left to do.

I'm about 75% done. I like to get it done early and then when the holidays get close, all I have to do is wrap!

I started last week with Toy Story Mania for Wii coming out. I picked up that and a few things for my daughter that she really wants.

The boys are getting new bikes so, I need to start looking for them soon.

I am usually done by Halloween but, not this year.

I'd say I'm close to halfway done. The last few years, I've tried to make the holidays as low stress as possible by having most of my shopping done by the end of Nov. and having a stock of treats (and food supplies) put away for holiday feasting. This was all very handy last winter when I had pneumonia for 2 weeks at the beginning of Dec.

Especially with the rumors of a bad flu season and possibly a cold winter, I'm trying to prepare to stay at home more this fall/winter to avoid contact with viruses and bad road conditions.

I mostly shop off lists with fairly specific items in mind. Amazon and Walmart's ship-to-store (free!) are two of my fave ways to shop for Christmas. In addition to having several gifts purchased, I also have two berry tarts (Costco), 3 apple-pecan breads (homemade from u-pick apples), and peaches (5 cups peeled and sliced for peach crisp) in my basement freezer just waiting for the holiday season.

I would say I'm about half done. I like to buy things as I see them because I know if I was to go back and get it it wouldn't be there!

Absolutely positively NOT. I refuse to even think about Christmas until after Halloween.

Not going to happen. No way!

After Halloween, I will start getting some ideas together. No shopping until after Thanksgiving.

I hate that stores already have Christmas stuff out.

We have started. But we are waiting a bit for some of the bigger ticket items. Waiting to see what deals come out closer to Christmas.

With money being tight, we are making sure we use every discount/coupon advantage that we get. Every $10.00 off any purchase of $10.00 or more coupon has been used. We have put every Borders and Barnes and Noble discount to good use.

I'm a B. If I see a good deal on something that would make a good gift I go ahead and purchase it. Back in the spring the Disney Shopping site clearanced their winter coats and I also got an email for additional off. So I got DD, nephew & two nieces coats with their names.....got them for about $11 each with personalization which was a great deal!!!! These are heavy winter coats. DS 12 has long outgrown the Disney coats though.

Have purchased a few other things as well.

I haven't started and I'm usually over halfway done by now.

Haven't done anything. We are going to be buying less this year than last year and last year we bought very little.

DH's family draws name so we have to buy 2 gifts there. My family stopped exchanging gifts a couple of years ago but I still get something for my parents. DD15 has only asked for 1 thing this year. My friends also decided not to exchange gifts with each other a couple of years ago.

thats what im saying its no xmas shopping unless its all decorated i just cant seem to get inspierd

No. We do very little Christmas shopping. I have been eying a couple of things I would like (Keurig coffee brewer?) for myself, but my kids are older and I wait until they think of something they want, which will be in December. We don't buy for anyone else other than the immediate family.

I'm just starting to think of some ideas. I'll never stop shopping till Christmas Eve no matter how much I've purchased, so I will never be able to say I'm done till I leave that last store on Dec. 24th. lol

As the kids get older, I have to get more creative in what I get them. Clothing is always a hit, but beyond that, there really is nothing they want right now. Gift cards and money would probably be big hits, but that would ruin Christmas.
