That's just WRONG! Stitch does not belong with Mickey, Goofy, and Donald. That should be Minnie or Pluto!

ETA: I totally wouldn't be bothered if it were like Mickey, Stitch, and another unrelated charactor like maybe Pooh or Cinderella. I just don't think Stitch fits in the scene very well.

My daughter loves it. I don't think Stitch is being shoved anywhere. I think Stitch is very popular and Disney can smell popular a mile away. As the mom of a girl who really isn't into the princesses and a boy, I feel like half of Disney merchandise is princesses and we don't really care for any of it. I don't think Disney is shoving it down my throat. I'm just in the minority on the "loving the princesses" thing.

ETA: Yes, yes my daughter is a princess but Princess Peach is different. Only Princess Peach for the purposes of Halloween and to be the perfect sidekick for Mario.

i agree. i think that Stitch was a very popular character and kids love him. he's one of the "newer" character compared to Mickey and Donald and such.so i think people don't like change, is what it is.

I also feel like Disney is pushing Stitch - when using the "classic" characters like Mickey, Donald and Goofy, why not Minnie instead of Stitch?

Want to add that I also think Disney is also pushing the princesses too hard too. I mean, I get that they made a lot of money off the princess idea (certainly revived Sleeping Beauty, who doesnt deserve to share a stage with Cinderella, but that's just my opinon) but there is money to be made on uni-sex marketing too.

I dont mind STITCH being there but if your going to advertise him then other newer characters should be added too. how about simba,beast,mermaid- escpecially mermaid- she saved the disney film industry...
i think the one that they're pushing too hard with now is NEMO... a new ride a new show,dont get me wrong - i love that they added new things and nemo seems right for the living seas, but come on a show in animal kingdom???

i don't mind, i only put it up for others to see, didn't know there were so many that don't like stitch, i haven't seen any thing with stitch in it so i can't say wheather i like him or not.

Ths year, for the Halloween season, they are somehow shoving Stitch down our throat at DLP too... The most amazing thing? NOt that many people are into Stitch, many people don't even know Stitch over here! (Lilo and Stitch wasn't that big a hit movie)

I think he's ugly and annoying, but I can somewhat understand why people do like him. I just don't think he deserves a spot among the Fab Five (who are actually with 6: Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald and Daisy)
