Have you seen "Calendar Girls"

We went last night and enjoyed it very much. I wasn't expecting it much from it, but it really is a "feel good" kind of movie.

Leave the kids home and enjoy an evening out yourself!

I enjoyed it very much......especially as I'm right in that age group!
My theater was full (and this was about a week after it came out) so I'm hoping 'hollywood' get's the message from this movie and from "Something's Gott Give" that the "baby boomer" generation is a viable target audience and every movie doesn't have to be about twenty-somethings (tho I go to those too!).

As a vender to movie theaters (we supply trivia questions that are shown b4 the movie) I read a few of the trade publications and about 3 years there was talk about a major switch to find topics for grown-ups in order to keep us baby boomers going to the movies. I remember going to see Space Cowboys and noticing that there was no one under 30 in the theater. It was the same last night.
