Unfortunately, the USPS isn't releasing a map of the locations: "Finding them is part of the fun," according to Melissa Dodge, a USPS spokeswoman.

DS11 really wants to see one (I do too), but I don't know if there are any in our area. I thought maybe if anyone saw one they could post the location here to let everyone know.

We saw one at Downtown Disney right next to World of Disney last week. It had a big crowd of people around it taking photos!

Is that why the cost of a postal stamp is going up $.02 AGAIN to $.41? So they can pay to paint the mailboxes. They look cool but I would rather they not raise the prices again.

Cool!! DH is going to love it! Now for him to find it . He works right by Port Jefferson and that is the closest to us in NY

ETA: Anyone know how long these will be around? I went to the Frapprs map link someone mentioned earlier and saw where the NYC ones are located. DH and I will be in the City 4/28. Too bad, no one had the location for Port Jefferson

The one in Oakbrook Illinois is outside of Macy's at the mall. There is also one in Downtown Naperville by the post office and in Downtown Chicago on Michigan Ave.

I love those! My dad's a postmaster, and I can't believe he didn't tell me about them! I really wish my town would get one, but it's probably too small to.

I haven't seen one, but there's supposedly one sort of near here, in Tampa. Don't know where though...
