Have YOU rode the Simpsons?

Maybe if he sees everyone else wearing them...he'll put them on.

You would think that would convince him but it rly does not. He is irrationally afraid of pretty much everything theme park. We did Spiderman, Shrek, and T2 in last 2 days. He had his hands on his face at Spiderman idk if he looked or not. He cryed in line for Shrek and refused to put them on. On T2 he closed his eyes the whole time.

For those who have been on it, what's it like? Is it scary at all? Do you think 5 year olds would like it? Thanks!

Well we are back. He kept his eyes open the whole ride for the Simpsons and he didnt seem too frightened by it. He thought it was "an ok ride" So idk if your 5 year old would necessarilly like it but I dont think he will be afraid. The first 30 mins of my Friday I had to stop him from crying because he thought a Dinosaur would eat him on the JP ride. We had a pretty fun trip even though I wont be wasting $$ bringing him there again. We did ride everything he was tall enough for except ripsaw falls. Anyway hope my info helps you!

Is the harness on the simpson ride the same as the Hulk? My DH had a little trouble fitting in the hulk and the ride attendant had to push down on his harness to get it closed so I was just wondering if it is a large seat with the harness that goes over your head or is it just a strap or bar ? I know they usually have samples outside of the rides but we are going June 11 so I guess I am getting a little anxious. Maybe he could lose 10 pounds in 10 days and that could help.

It's just a lap bar...nothing over the shoulder.

Like Metro said it is a lap bar. I am a big guy and I fit fine. They do not have a sample seat outside but its a car similar to Spiderman if he has done that one with a lap bar. I had no issue with Hulk but it was close. Hope it helps ease your mind have a fun trip!
