Have you rec'd your QVC order yet?

I got mine today and honestly, not sure I like it. I ordered the Memories Direct 7000 pc kit. Includes a 12 x 12 album, an 8 x 8 album and LOTS and LOTS of alphabets, die cuts, several sheets of paper and other things. The paper seems really flimsy to me and not the high quality of cardstock that I usually buy. I'm thinking about sending it back for a refund. Did anyone else order this? If so, what's your opinion of it? Has anyone else returned something to QVC b/c you weren't happy w/it? How'd it go? With postage and taxes I paid almost $46 which is ALOT of money to spend to be "just ok" w/something.

I think I recall another thread about that exact kit the other day. Same opinion that it wasn't really up to quality. I saw that kit offered in sept 04 on an infomercial while we were in disney and it just didn't look like for that great of a deal, the stuff was up to my usual quality standards, so i was shocked when i saw it on QVC. I have returned a few things to QVC before without any problems. Usually get my refund within 7 days of shipping it back and I know it takes at least 2 for the package to get there. One of the reason I continue to shop with QVC is no hassle returns, they have great customer services.

Yes, I think there was a post about that kit through a different company. I remember the "flimsy" paper concern. I've never returned anything to QVC, but I have heard positives from others who have.

Good luck! I'm with you - no sense spending good money on something that you are only "OK" with. Think of all the GREAT things that are out there waiting to be purchased!

Yea, I've pretty much decided I'm sending it back. I've thought about it overnight and decided I'm not happy w/the kit. The paper is almost as thin as toilet paper and would never stand up as a regular page in an album. Could use it as accent and border pages but not regular c/s. As good as their service was when I ordered it, I'm sure they'll be great at accepting the return. I'm disappointed--was really looking forward to a new kit to play w/from QVC but guess I'll have to wait until CKU comes to Nashville and go then and spend my $46!!!

I've returned things to QVC (mostly clothes) that I didn't like and it's no problem. They will credit whatever card you used. I finally got my Q Card paid off from Christmas! LOL! I haven't ever asked to be reimbursed for postage, you would have to call on that. Just check the box on the return label that you didn't like it.
