I'm reading a book I got at the library called Mousejunkies.

At this point, it is almost like this guy lives in my head. I am with him on 99% of what he has in the book. :goodvibes

I usually read (or skim through) all the WDW guidebooks and this one is a lot of fun when you truly love WDW and aren't just someone planning your 1st or 2nd visit. I think they might enjoy it but I doubt they could relate until they got pixie dust in their eyes and have visions of Mickey Mouse dancing in their dreams.

Fun read. Pick it up and enjoy!!

I just took a look at it on Amazon. It got great reviews and looks really interesting. Guess I may add it to our next Amazon order!

It's a terrific book that just about any Dis-er would enjoy. There are some guidebook type tips, but the best is the narrative of author Bill Burke(who is a Dis-er). I started a thread about this a couple of weeks ago, and the postive responses from other Dis-ers who bought the book are unanimous.:earsboy:

Micca, I am sorry I didn't see your thread. I will look for it. I'd like to see what everyone said about it.

bballmom, put it on your order!! I do not think you can go wrong. I'm thinking of getting a copy for a gift and even buying my own copy. It is unlike the other books out there.

Now, if he'd go live in Celebration for a year and write about that adventure for me...

Apparently no libraries in the state of RI have this book. :confused3 I'm thinkin' I need to buy me one. ::yes::

Mare, you and your DH would love it!!!

Oh and request the book at the library. They NEED to have that book. Besides, he's from somewhere up there.

Bren, I thought you were going to tell me that if I had moved to Alcoa like I was supposed to, I could get it at your library.

Can't wait for a library now...trip coming up!

Gosh, that's the first time I ever missed beating that dead horse!!

LOL I know...it's late. It would have hit you tomorrow. Here...hang onto this for next time:

BTW...Barnes & Noble has FREE & FAST SHIPPING on orders $10 and over through today. :thumbsup2

I just ordered it. If it sucks, you owe me $12.

Yay, Mare! You all will really enjoy it.

CB, I'll pay you the $12.00 if you don't like it. That's how sure I am.
I need to look up Micca's thread on this because I want to see if someone posted they did not enjoy this book. I am not sure how a Disney fan could not like it and relate to it.

You ladies enjoy your books when they arrive and CB, be sure to get with me on that. ;)

Thanks for posting about this book. I had not previously heard of it so I requested it from the library today. There are currently 7 holds on the first copy returned so the news must be spreading about it being a good read.

Got it; read a few pages; love it so far! :thumbsup2

Glad to see so many are enjoying it. It's the feel-good Disney book of 2009!;)

I got it. Haven't read-read it, but flipped through and read a bit here and there. A couple of funnies so far, so I guess I got my $12 worth and you're off the hook. ;)

I have to say that when I saw the line about the characters serving you your meal, I thought, "They don't serve the food, they just stop by the table."

You know you're too into it when you're mentally correcting the guy who wrote the book on being too into it.
