Have you ordered Target online that had a GC with it?

I saw something I wanted. It said 199 plus $40 gift card. When I put it in the cart is showed $159 as a special price. Does that mean they take off the $40 instead of giving you the gift card? It did say add to cart to see the special price.

Ok I just added something else that had a gift card and it didn't do that. HMMMMM. This seems to be a good deal.

The one time that I ordered something that came with a gift certificate my shopping cart showed the price of the item, $79, and then the gift card as a promo item, $0. However, my bank statement showed 2 charges -item, $54, and gift card, $25. I thought that was kind of strange.

The gift card actually came in my email, which neither the ad nor the order form indicated it would, as an e-gift certificate. It has to be used online or in the store on a mobile device, which I don't have.

Did you complete your order? I wonder if you'll get the special price AND the gift card? That would be a nice bonus!

I have ordered several times with a gift card promo. They take off the value of the gift card from the order & then bill separately for the gift card when it is shipped. The products and gift card are shipped separately.

I didn't order it. I think I will go to the store and see how that works. I ended up not having my redcard as my dd has it and went to her dad's.
