Have you heard this question? Do they adjust ac in stores when it gets cool at nite?

This time next week, I'll be basking in the Florida sun!!! But, friends have told me it gets cool at night.

I hate being cold (I do love when it's 90 degrees at WDW). This is our first trip in Nov.

So, when it cools down at night, will I still be freezing my butt off every time I walk into a building? Will the ac still be blasting?

Thanks,

Anna

Wow that is a great question! I am uptight about the weather (warm days cool nights) as it is.

I am just packing to leave tommorrow. I have been this time of the year and sometimes it gets cool during the day not just at night. I have half a suitcase packed with summer stuff and the other half with warmer clothes.
I just checked and the current temp at the weather station at the Swan and Dolphin is 68.(its 1am). Thats not that cold so i hope it stays like this for the next week or so!

I find the buildings cool just about every time of year. I generally bring a sarong or light sweater with me when I'll be indoors for a long period of time. I get cold easy too - Another one who loves it when it's 90º....

I am also always cold. We were there this past weekend and it got very chilly in the evenings. Definitely bring a sweater! And yes, I still found it just as cold in the rides and stores after dark...

The temperature of the store depends on what the AC is set at. Usually they are set at around 75 degrees which feels freezing when it's 90 degrees outside, but not so harsh when it drops into the 60s. Also, you have to remember that the store doors are always left open so that can affect the temperature also.

I always bring a light jacket with me, I can't stand being in the cold AC for a long period of time. 75 can sound like a reasonable temperature to set an AC, but with it's 95 + degrees outside, the 20 degree temperature change can be quite a shock at first.
