Have you had Le Cellier Lunch since the switchover?

If so, I'm curious about what you think. If you ate there before, and now since the switchover (for lunch), do you still think it's a "must do"?

I have an ADR there for our June trip, but it's beginning to sound less and less appealing to me.

I'd love some feedback. Please, however, don't give me your dinner feedback or feedback from your experience before the switchover. I'm only interested in how it is NOW since it's become 2TS at night...I'd like to know whether the LUNCH is worth it now.

Thanks!

I have reservations there next month because we loved in last May when we ate there. What switchover are you talking about? :confused3

I'm with you, since they changed the menu and made dinner a 2TS, dinner is not appealing to us either. We looked at the lunch menu and it kind of looks meh. I'll be interested to see how people feel about lunch also. I think that's the only way we'll go back..... I'd rather use the 2TS for dinner at Yachtsman's instead.

Hmmm was just looking at the differences. With the DDP can you order off the menu or do you have to go with the 3 courses?

They switched the menu around at dinner and made it a 2TS restaurant. The menu looks roughly the same as what it was before for lunch, but I'm not sure if the rave reviews Le Cellier received was due mostly to dinner or lunch.

If the overwhelming verdict is that it's not "all that" for lunch, then I'm going to cancel my ADR. Right now, the timing isn't convenient for us and I'd rather not have to mess with it unless it's still considered to be worth it.

You can always order off the menu OR get the Fix Prix Menu but if u are on the reg dining plan the Fix Prix counts and you can get an appie.

I went for Lunch the day before the switch over and already noticed some GREAT improvement in the reciepes of the sides and as a Canadian I am SO happy that AAA Canadian (which is a higher quality than US AAA) is now being offered at LC!

There is also Canadian Carp (East Coast I think) and Venison! I am VERY excited to go for dinner in Sep!

My family and I went there for lunch the week after the switchover and didn't see any changes in the LUNCH menu. We did see a few minor things changed on the dinner menu. The lunch hasn't changed much, if at all. The portion sizes, were (and always have been) "lunch sized"...which, in my opinion, that is still quite a bit of food.

They still have the steaks (which the Filet was WOOOOONNNNDERFULLLLL!!!!), the kids menu is the same option as it's always been for lunch...and there is a steak on the kids menu that both of my girls got and loved it.

I'm not too excited about their dessert options. I got the cobbler/fruit tart thing and it was 'good'...hubby got the smores and we were both dissapointed. The people next to us got the 'moose', and I've seen it in person before- it's NEVER looked like the picture posted on this thread when I've seen it. Maybe it's just been 'off' the two times I've been there.

The lunch meals are good there, in my opinion, and better steak than anywhere else in Epcot! and, really, by the time dessert came, we were STUFFED!!!

We love LeCellier - with the price increase we (me, DS22 and his GF23) opted for lunch last week. We had a fabulous meal. DS ordered the strip steak and substituted the cream cheese mashed instead of roasted yukon potatoes. His GF and I split a filet (the filet was as tender and delicious as any I have ever had there) and also substituted the mashed instead of mushroom risotto. We all enjoyed a cold Canadian beer, cup of cheddar cheese soup and pretzel bread for app. We were all too full for dessert. DS ordered a side of mac and cheese - he is a mac and cheese lover - but he wasn't crazy about the thinner white sauce it was in - it was good, just not what he likes. As long as they keep the filet on the lunch menu, we'll go for lunch.:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

we ate there twice for lunch a couple weeks ago. We love the mussels there. Yes it was worth it for us, we were on the deluxe plan , it was only one credit . We didn't like their duck appetizer though
