Have you had a CM check for any ADR for a meal and...?

I swear that I have had this done, and more than once; but CM today said that he has to check individual restaurants.

He thought that I was being difficult, but I know that they've done this before.

Anybody else?

I just called last night and asked them to look up Candlelight processional packages for a day and they were able to not only check multiple restaurants but also multiple CP seatings at one time without me asking for any restaurant in particular.

I've called before and asked for availability at Epcot (any restaurant) for a night.

So, as far as my experience goes, yes they can.
 
It depends on the CM. When I've called to check on CP package availability, some have gone down the list of what's available so I could choose, & others have made me specify a restaurant before they would look it up. It's really a pain, when they do it that way. I've gotten to where I hate calling to check for availability. Some CMs are great & others make it seem like you're inconveniencing them by asking what's available.
 
While in WDW yes they have been able to do that for me....I called and said what do you have for tomorrow at 6 and they gave me all the TS places that had openings.
 

Yup! Last year when the Teppan Edo opening was delayed and they called to change my ADR, she told me every restuarant on property that had an opening for that time slot.

Sounds like the CM was 1) new and/or didn't know how or 2) didn't want to.
 
In August 2006 during free dining my family and I were making some last minute lunch ADR's for 50's Prime Time Cafe and The Plaza while at WDW and the Cast Member said what times would we like, because any time slot for lunch was available at both locations.
 
One time I called and the CM was able to check all TS for a particular night. When I called back a few days later and asked the CM for the same thing, I was told they can't do that. It seems very inconsistent.

Also, I called to make a payment on our package and the CM asked if I needed any dining reservations. I said yes, please transfer me to Disney Dining and she replied that she could make the ADR for me. Another time, I called to make another payment and this CM couldn't make ADR's...she transferred my call to Disney Dining.

It is frustrating when all CM's can't do the same thing! :confused3

You're not crazy.

Thank him nicely, tell him you were probably just confused, you've got to go, and hang up.

Then call back - you'll probably get someone who is a little more experienced at ferreting information out of the system.
