Like Deena, I won a hotel stay at Howard Johnson Maingate East as one of the door prizes awarded at DIScon 2002. My kids and I enjoyed the extra 2 days that we got to spend at WDW this summer as a result of the prize.

And I was only 3 questions away from winning the 3-night Disney cruise at Who Wants To Be A Millionaire - Play It last month.

And DW Sue won $75 in the quarter slots after having "invested" only $2.25 at the Atlantis Casino on Nassau (Paradise Island) last year. Not quite $13,388.30, but still quite a nice surprise.

A trip to the Bahamas for 5 days/4 nights. It was quite nice.

I entered a drawing for a trip to Universal Orlando at Target a few years back and won! The prize included three nights/four days at Portofino, airfare, ground transfers & park passes. We took the trip in 2000. Enjoyed the resort, but my son was much too short for most of the rides at IOA. We are going back next year - if he grows another inch!

I won a Colecovision at a church picnic a long time ago and I won a game cube and 3 games just last year off of a radio station and there were other times i won cd's and concert tickets off other radio stations...

I won a "World's Worst Boss" contest a few years ago in Orlando. You had to tell about your worst boss ever! Long story short, she told me I couldn't go on my honeymoon until I had my filing cleaned up. Then, a day later, I opened the department mail and she received PORNO! I had opened it (wasn't marked confidential) and stamped it "received" and put it in her IN box. She never said another word about my filing -- or my honeymoon!

I won a night's stay at a WDW Village hotel and a dinner for two!

I don't gamble (lottery, casinos, etc) but last week on our cruise my DH and I won a lot of gifts playing the trivia games onboard

We won water safes, luggage tags, pens, keychains, etc... Nothing major, but it was fun

I won a years supply of chocolate from Nestle with various other items thrown in.

I've also won a total of 5 days of vacation at company picnics.

A couple years ago we won a shopping spree at Boston Store worth about $500. We spent it on luggage for WDW.

I once won a basket of cheer. I've won cash in 50/50 drawings a couple of times.

I'd trade it all in for a hit on tonight's $250,000,000 Powerball drawing. A group of us buy tickets every Saturday. When it gets BIG like this we do Wednesdays too. It's 4 couples, so a 4-way split.

$500 playing bingo with SIL when I was just 18.

A toaster when I was in the 7th grade. Not sure what I was going to do with that but we could really use a new one around here....wonder where that one went?

The ONLY think I've ever won was in May on a scrapbook board...I had to find a hidden sun on the website...they picked my name and I won a 10$ scrapbook tool!

I also won $225 in a 50/50 raffle last winter.

I just remembered something else we won. A local fire station has an annual steak fry. We've made it a point to always budget $20 for the 50 cent bingo cards (very much like scratch off lottery cards). We always have one or more winners and we always use the winnings to keep buying cards until the $20 is used up. The 5th year that we attended the steak fry, we hit the jackpot. We got the $100 winning ticket. Seeing that this was how much we had spent over the past 5 years, we broke with tradition and kept the $100.

It's a family joke that if one of the prizes in a local contest draw is a kitbag of some sort, I will win it - I must have won about 10 so far! The last time I won something, I was notified by a representative of a local organization, who said: "Mrs. Emmyfaye, you've won a head bag!". I thought, "Great, I have won a bag for my head - just what I need in my advancing stage of decrepitude"... but it turned out to be a "Head" bag -something that tennis players know about, I guess!

My pile of winnings also include a turkey (frozen), $172.50 in a 50/50 draw at a local game, $9 on a "scratch and win" ticket, and, a number of years ago, a large, non-returnable "unmentionable" donated by a local clothing store. Let's just say that it was sized for watermelons... and was the weirdest thing I ever won.

As you can see, I am not a threat to anyone's winning plans.

Oh Serena, that would be so disappointing!!!!

I won $360 at Casino Niagara one night. We were leaving, I had 3 tokens left, and as we went by the slot machines on our way to the door, I stopped for a second (didn't even sit down), and plopped in 2 tokens. I don't know why I didn't put all 3 in, I would of won $720. It was enough to pay for our hotel room and breakfast though, so it all worked out.

....of course I was forced against my will to go gambling at the casino...

I lived in Las Vegas for 8 years, I've won a few jackpots - the single biggest being $3500 but I've hit a few Royal Flushes on Video Poker ($1000).

I enter sweepstakes as a hobby and have one quite a few things, just an example of a few $1000 KMart Gift Card for my MIL, a trip to France for 2 (had to turn that one down), a big screen TV for my SIL, a microwave, a digital camera (arrived on my birthday) and lots of toys for my neice and nephews who think I'm Auntie Santa I took a break from entering while planning my Disney trip but now that it is over it's time to get serious again!

Many many years ago I won tickets and backstage passes to see Meatloaf and I won like $80.00 on daily 4 lottery.

One year, at our older daughter's school's golf outing, I won a Chicago Bull's leather jacket (this was back when the Bulls were still champions!). That same year, we won the other grand prize, a 9" TV that plays in the car as well as the house (made road trips much nicer!).

Two years later, same golf outing, DH won the grand prize, $300.((bought himself a new set of clubs).

Same golf outing is next Sat, and yes, we're playing in it. Hmmmmmmmm
