Have you ever scraplifted?

WOW! They are great. I've not used sketches before, being unable to draw a straight line , but as she's gone to the trouble of doing them for us I'll borrow her ideas

I scraplift almost every single layout I make! When I start a layout, I grab my pictures and my Simple Scrapbook magazines and look for ideas.

I do that too. But I seldom use the whole layout the exact way it is in the book, usually because I don't have all the same supplies or same amount/size pictures. But I often look through the mags to get an idea and then make it my own. Otherwise I can get scrappers block easily

I have both sketches books and I love them! I also take Becky sketches from the magazine and put them in my own sketch book. And pages from 2peas cherryontop, etc...

Jen, I also prefer the first book to the second. I scrap in weird bunches: meaning not at all and then all the time. Our 2005 book was made almost compeltely with her sketches from the first book! I finished it so quickly.

I bought a few magazines, and a few of those plastic sketch layouts, but have never used them. Even if I look at other peoples pages, I just end up back at my own. I just can't scraplift.
