Have you ever requested bunkbeds with only 1 child in your party?

and received it, or do they mainly reserve these for families with 2 children?
I know...silly question, but my daughter has always wanted "bunkbeds" and with our roof shape and her room being on the 3rd floor the bunkbeds won't work! So, I thought it would be neat for her to be able to sleep on these during our trip, if we are able to!!! THANKS

We requested, and received, bunk beds at WL in January, and our DD8 loved sleeping on the top. No one seemed to care that we only had one child in our party! Hope this helps--have a great trip!

Our ds is our only, and we've requested bunk beds before. He got them at WL, but no luck at AKL.

We had a AKL deluxe room (also concierge) and requested bunks for our 2 girls and did not recieve them. When I asked about our requests, since I also didn't receive the hallway I requested, I was told they keep those for families of 5. This makes sense since at AKL, it is the only room that will sleep 5. However it would be nice if we knew that it most likely wouldn't be given to us. The girls were excited about the bunks, since they had seen pictures of the lodge. It might be different with the std AKL and WL rooms since the Bunk/Q rooms have the same occupancy as the Q/Q rooms (no daybed).

I was kind of thinking there was a real abundance of bunkbed rooms, because when I went to AKL as a solo, my room had bunk beds!

We requested bunk beds for our upcoming trip with just one child. The CM told me no problem that she would love it. Of course everything is subject to availability.

We just have one child, and have requested/received rooms with bunkbeds at both AKL and WL.

We requested bunk beds for our upcoming June stay, we are taking DD's boyfriend. The CM put on our request "opposite sex, unrelated teenagers" she said we would have a better chance of getting the bunk beds. I hope that they give people in our situation, or families with opposite sex older kids priority when it comes to bunk beds! We did have bunk beds on our last 2 AKL stays, but we requested them because our kids are boy/girl and 5 years apart so they do not share a bed.
