Have you ever met anyone you just "clicked with"?

The manager of the Domino's I became Assistant manager of left to work for a different Domino's. The owner of my store, invited me to join him when he took the manager out to dinner.

So, last night, we went to the Outback to take my manager out. The owner also invited his Marketing Manager. I had met her a couple of times in the year I have worked there, but nothing more then her asking how things are going, and me replying good. You see, the manager always complined about what a witch this woman was, so I was stand-offish.

Well, we got to talking last night, and it seems, she went to HS with my younger sisters! She played on the HS basketball team with one of them. She also is close friend's with my best friends daughter. (my friend is a grandmother, she has kids older than me, and her youngest DD is a year younger than me, but she is my best friend).

I had such a great time getting to know her better. I burned my arm yesterday when the oven door closed on it, so I decided to whine to the owner how injured I was, I said "I burned myself today" she said, I burned myself last week, and held up her arm to show me her burn. It was in the SAME SPOT, and SAME SHAPE. I asked if the oven door closed on her..she said YES! LOL It was too funny.

I was doing theater back in Albuquerque and I that's where I met one of my best friends. The show was, "Guys and Dolls" and I was playing a small role and she was the Props Mistress, and we just clicked. From that day on we were best of friends.
