I don't remember, but I wouldn't be surprised. I've been on lots that got locked and poofed. I always feel proud when I'm the last poster on a locked thread.

OMG I think I remember that! I was someone else then - didn't change on purpose just went away from the boards for a few years and then couldn't remember who I was!!

Gosh it could of been....parenting threads always set me off ! Of course the infamouse "dead body" thread got locked after Charlie NJ and i got a little graphic

Not on this message board, but on another board entirely, I had a thread on "Christianity's Ties to Paganism and Other Religions" locked. *shrug*

Just one that I can think of. It poofed too. It was my favorite thread, and really the one that started me on CB, but I had been a Dis member for a few years at that point.

Looking back I am not surprised, but it did also lead the banning of number of letter put together for a slang term for being a hot mama. Still I didn't say anything bad, but some subjects just go there if you know what I mean.

A few weeks ago, there was a political debate thread on the TB. I tried to stay out of it, but I ended up attacking a poster for no random reason. I felt bad, because it wasn't my thread, but someone else's.

I remember the day I got the nasty letter from the moderator like it was yesterday....I still feel so ashamed

I noticed that I had a PM, wow, wonder who that's from?.....was a note from the mod telling me that I had been bad, and that I had to stand in the corner for 30 minutes.

Reason: innuendo....which it was, but everyone who was posting was playing right along....

Wow, that's an honor! If he locked one of my threads, I'd pretend he was flirting with me! I love that guy! I know he's gay, but I can still drool over him!

Anyway, I have never had one of my own threads locked, but I believe I played a part in having a few locked. I didn't feel guilty about it, but it made me angry because there was more I wanted to say, and then I couldn't. That was very frustrating.

I know I'm not a trouble maker, but some topics draw me in with my strong feelings about it, and then it sometimes gets nasty. I don't make personal attacks, though, even though some people take it that way and feel offended if you oppose them. I'm actually a good little girl!

I have had a thread locked.
No I do not feel guilty because it was not my fault it was locked.
I don't think I am a trouble maker.

The story was that I was having trouble with my 2 kids fighting while home for summer vacation. I work in the school system, so we all were adjusting to being together A LOT! It was a really nice thread for a long time- moms giving advice and good wishes- and then the mommy wars began. There are so many mommy wars it is hard to remember how this one started, but I believe someone stated that we working moms should not have had our children if we were not going to raise them. It got ugly fast and I see that particular poster causing trouble frequently on parenting threads.

Yes, they poofed one of my threads. Said it was inappropriate. It was oh-so not inappropriate IMO...but my opinion doesn't count.
