Have you ever dressed as a Disney princess as an Adult in Disney?

I definitely saw two 16/17 year old girls in august wearing the typical "slutty" versions of the princess dresses in the magic kingdom. I was shocked they hadn't been told to redress at all.

1) No.
2) A 6'4" ex-college-football player has a hard time pulling off being a princess.

Not if you went to the Halloween Party at Disneyland. I saw more guys dressed as Tinkerbell than I care to ever see again. Granted she's not a princess, but you get the idea....Too bad I didn't get a picture. It was pretty funny.

As for the OP, just go to the Halloween party. I saw tons of adults wearing princess dresses (and WAAAAAAYYYY too many ladies past their prime wearing sexy pirate outfits--much scarier than a bunch of dudes dressed as a pixie.). At four, you can enter the park in your princess dress and have the day you wanted. If you can't attend the party, just wear a T-shirt and a tiara. Nothing says princess like some sparkle on one's head. princess:

And FWIW, I saw a lot of girls whose costumes were amazing. (I'll try to find and post a picture of one Briar Rose that I snapped because I liked her costume so much.) In fact, there was one Sleeping Beauty who had a tough time trying to convince this one little girl that she was not the real princess.

ETA: Here is the picture of Briar Rose. I just wanted to show you that, if you go to the Halloween Party, your costume can be pretty realistic. Oh, I don't know these people. I hope it's okay I posted. I just couldn't believe how cool her dress was.

What the other posters say is true. Adults are not allowed to enter the parks dressed as characters. Sorry to rain on your parade :guilty:

No one stopped me from walking into the MNSSHP this past Oct. dressed as Captain Hook. Probably they were preoccupied "looking" at my 6' tall wife's naughty pirate outfit.

I'm 6'4" and still have an athletic build. The wife and I were quite amused by all the attention I got from many male CMs that evening.

Also, fun that night was I ended up carrying the younger DD late night. She was dressed as Tinkerbell. Endless comments about Hook having caught Tink from everyone. DD loved it. Wasn't planned at all. DD had a 3:30 BBB appt. and chose the Tink outfit.

My first time going as a princess..... At least I had the sense not to go in the ballgown version! :rotfl2:

Thanks! We have a lot of fun with the costumes. I want to get back to MNSSHP this year, but don't know if we'll work it out yet. I need my son to reschedule cross country season for me! :rotfl2: He said he'd get back to me on that........ My daughter wants to go as the Evil Queen, and I was thinking of going as Snow White. Rags again, mind you........ I'll save the ballgowns for the younger set...... :lmao:

Yes, I have. My sister and I did for our first MNSSHP, it was awesome. Yes, little kids were into it! You are not supposed to sign autographs and we did not, however we did pose for a few pictures. No lines formed or anything. Also I had some great interactions with kids! I was using the rest room and I heard a little girl just sobbing with her mother, she must have been about three! When I came out of the stall to wash my hands her eyes got big as saucers, she stopped crying immediately and said "Hi Belle!" in the cutest voice ever. She started telling me all about her night. I talked to her a few minutes, complimented her costume, and told her I hoped she had a magical party. Her mother mouthed "thank you!" at me over her head.

You become very conscious of the fact that to these children, you are that princess, and I took the responsibility of representing my favorite princess very seriously!

That's awesome! Who knew you could meet Belle in the bathroom! :rotfl2: But how sweet of you to take the time with her. :goodvibes

And Belle......... I recognize that fabric in your dress. I used it for the skirt on my little Snow White in my signature below!

Thank you! :goodvibes I saw your photos over on the photography board. They are AWESOME! :thumbsup2 I'm really tempted to try Mother Gothel for MNSSHP for me. After all, I've got the whole "naturally gray" thing well under way.......:rotfl2: but I want something new for my daughter. We did Rapunzel for our December trip. And where's the fun in wearing the same thing twice???? :lmao: She seems to be more interested in the villains for our next trip. Says she wants a Maleficent costume too. Hmmm....... it seems she has gone to the dark side.......:darth:

those mnsshp princess costumes are so great!

i know that disney is super strict about thier princess rule for adults. you cant wear any type of long regal looking gown at all. I know at my wedding i had to walk through epcot escorted by a disney employee everywhere just to make sure no little kids came up to me thinking i am a princess. i was secretley hoping one got by so i could pretend, lol. oh well, just have to wait until the halloween party comes along :)

I would love to have a Disney wedding! hahah it will be a while until then seeing as I'm 18 but I would have hoped for the same thing you did. :)

I also want to suggest that you just going during MNSSHP. I did my first one this past year and it was SO fun. We dressed up as the female characters from Peter Pan. (Tink, Wendy, and Tiger Lilly)
