I called Disney dining reservations today and after getting the restaurant and time, I gave my name and the cm said she remembered me? LOL! She said she had done my reservations before and she remembered my name! Oh boy, how many times do you think I've called?! LOL! BTW, I'm not Mary Smith or anything!! I thought it was kinda cool!

Yes I have been recognized by a CM. At DISconI we had a character breakfast. It was wonderful fun :)

About 3 days later, I had breakfast at Cape May with a couple of friends. I posed for a photo with Minnie. Before the photo was taken she "signed" to me that she knew me, from the previous character breakfast.

I was very impressed :)

CM Barbara who is a waitress at the Crystal Palace who waited on us as a family in Jan. of 2003 and again in October when we were alone. This time when we went last week as a family she waited on us again and knew us! It was so cool. She figures one more trip and she will recall our names, lol!

Safari Steve did one evening, when he was working back up on CRO duty. And a number of the folks at the Swan know my name. Always makes me smile. :)

Does the piano player at Jellyrolls who remembered me by name four months after the first time we met count? Of course, the $10s and $20s I throw on his piano probably help his memory :)

There are several CMs that I look for each trip to WDW. A couple of them work for the Disney Vacation Club. I've made a big enough pest of myself that they remember me. A couple of CMs at Who Wants To Be A Millionare remember me, perhaps because of my frequent trips to that attraction. A couple of years ago, one of them actually ran up to me and gave me a big hug.

But my favorite CM story happened on the Disney Magic. We were on the first 7-day cruise in August 2000. Eighteen months later, we sailed on the Magic again. We were signing up Sarah in the Oceaneers Lab when one of the CMs looked up and saw our daughter. A big smile came over her face. She came up to Sarah, gave her a big hug, and called her by name. I was amazed that someone who hadn't seen my daughter in 18 months would not only recognize Sarah, but remember her name. That had to be the highlight of the cruise not only for Sarah but also for me.

On our last cruise on the Magic, our old assistant server recognize us.

We always stay at the Contemporary - 2 to 3 times per year. On the first day, when we walk into Bay View Gifts, the CMs always say "You're back!" It's actually kind of embarassing!
