Have you ever been on July 3rd?

July 3rd?

Whats it like? I know it will be busy... but will it be unbearable?

What have been, or are your predictions, or experiences?

DH and I traveled to WDW two July's ago -- it is very, very hot and very very crowded We had a wonderful time because, of course, we're in WDW - but will not travel at that time of the year again.

If you do decide to go...um, tomorrow -- have a wonderful time, just take plenty of shade and water breaks.

We have been during the week of July4th and I have been to disney maybe 25 times. The most crowded ever was July 4th one year, it was midnight and you could look down on main street and it was still jam packed with people. Would we do it again, YEAH!!!! but just know ahead of time that it will be hot and packed and do the best you can. It is better a crowded trip than NO trip at all. MK did close admissions that day, which I hear that they do when it is at capacity. I hear they will let people who stay on property in first over one day passes. Not sure if that is right but I just wanted to mention it. hope it helps

I'll be there tomorrow which is July 3rd

I was there last year on the 4th thru 10th. It was very hot. Like make you dizzy and give you heatstroke hot, but I drank my water and was fine. Sure there's lots of people, but you just go with the flow and have a good time.

we will be there tomorrow and like the previous poster said "just go with the flow and you will have a good time" is the best advice you can get. well i will add stay hydrated

Hi,
We were there in 2004 and yes it was crowded but
we got there early and stayed late and had a great time.
We would go at this time again, the fireworks were
awesome. Good Luck

What about the days immediately following the 4th? Does it tend to be a little less crowded since people are leaving for home after the 4th, or does it stay super crowded? We will be there 7/5-7/11, and are planning for the worst as far as heat and crowds.

I am wondering the same thing. We will be there July 6-13. Last year we went a week later and it was hot and crowded but manageable. No matter what, I think this summer is going to be more crowded. I keep looking for rooms on the WDW site (I know, loooser...) and their is almost no availability anywhere.
