Have you ever been in an incident when your walking around Disney, and people in those motorized scooters run over your feet !?! They are everywhere! I've gotten bruises & scratches from them. I know one of my friends have gotten hurt from them. It gets pretty annoying. Anyone ever had a "scooter incident?" :headache:

My mom uses a scooter when she knows she wont be able to walk. She has hep. c so sometimes she gets kind of weak and cant walk around a lot.

But when we were getting off of IASM, she got in her scooter and she almost zoomed right into the water! That was a sorta incident for her. :upsidedow It was pretty funny, though.

Yeahh, I understand those people, but it's the people that don't even need scooters ! haha.

My goodness the amount of people that I swear hire scooters because they're too damn lazy is ridiculous.
I understand that you can't always tell what is wrong with a person before you say anything.

You can't tell someone's sick just by looking at them. I used a scooter this summer. Looking at me you could never tell I couldn't walk. Looking at me you couldn't tell I had just finished chemo. You don't know. Sure, that obese person in the scooter could be lazy, but they could also have a heart condition that prevents them from strenuous activity.

I agree. But the fact is, if they can't like drive a scooter without running over peoples feet. My grandma just had chemo, and she had to be in a scooter too. Like, you can't judge a book by its cover.

The people who just carelessly run over you or the ones who think they have the right-away because they're in a scooter annoy me. I mean, just because you have a scooter doesnt mean that you can run over me to get to the front of the line or parade route! I've been bruised and cut and pushed into other people and into walls.

People with strollers are bad about that too. One lady deliberately hit me one time and made me fall flat on my face, where she proceeded to run over my arm without apologizing. And her kid was like 8 and definitely old enough to walk by himself.

i was ran over by some idiot in a ECV didnt even speak english
i was pushed by some girls from the Brazilian Tour Groups.
i was harrased by a british family for makeing them sit in the grass. i had a bad morning that was the morning i had a minor seizure. when this happened it was night and i wanted to go out. the couple even told a castmember and the castmember didnt say anything to me xD they proceed to tell me what a bad american i was then i lost it. i yelled IM SORRY I HAD A MINOR MEDICAL ISSUE THIS MORNING SO IM NOT FEELING WELL AT THE MOMENT. THERE ARE MILLIONS OF BENCHES AROUND HERE FOR GODS SAKE. GET YOURSELF ONE. they looked at me and walked away.

We've never had a lot of problems with ECVs...it's the strollers that get us.

We were watching Wishes from Mainstreet in front of the Castle. You all know how they dim the lights and such, well this one lady comes pretty much charging through the crowd with a double stroller. She ran right into my ankle and sent me down (into her stroller). Didn't apologize or anything, but tried to make a scene about me attacking her stroller.

Everyone around us was pretty much "dude, lady. It's dark. You're trying to move through a very crowded area." she didn't win that battle.

Plus, when she saw the blood on my ankle, it kinda proved my point.

I hate seeing kids who are 8, 9, and 10 years old in strollers. It bothers me to no end. I can understand wanting your kid to be rested so you can have a longer day at the parks, but by that age they should be fine! I did without a stroller at 5!

I agree ! Like espescially in Animal Kingdom in the stroller corrals !
Once, my family and I were in the Hall of Presidents, and these too old ladys started yelling at eachother (both in scooters) and the "literally" attacked eachother with their scooters flipping the 1 old ladie's scooter. It was kinda funny, but then kinda scary of what "could've" happened. :upsidedow

Parents are freaking evil with those strollers. Especially when their kid isn't IN the stroller.
My mom has accidentally run over my feet a couple of times, but it's always my fault.

::yes::

People with strollers are pure evil. Especially when they run over your leg and keep going without even turning around and apologize. That-or they glare at you like it was all your fault, because you dare be standing/walking where they needed to go.

One of the employee ladys in the Splash Mountain ride thing that stands in like the middle of the line just stepped on my foot and then gave us passes to go straight to the front, lol.

These past two years my mom has been in a scooter at disney because first she had back surgery 15 days before disney, then last year she broke her foot badly. So she has been in one. It's hilarious. She doesn't wait for anyone to get out of the way haha. People were just looking at her and she was like EXCUSE ME! Cuz they would always cut us or run right through us. That's why people get run over because they don't look where they are walking.

See, THAT is the annoying thing about people in scooters

lol . . .
yeah but some people just stand in the way. they don't move.

They don't care about anyone else. They paractiaclly have their way. & the stollers are the same way. They use them to push thro the crowds & all they people because the "stroller is commin' thro !" These kids need to walk !
I was out of a stroller when I was 5 ! :moped:

I have been run over by a family with a stroller .. and there was no child in the stroller.
