Have you ever been able to get a 4th Fastpass?

I read that you can book another Fast Pass after you use your allotted 3. Tried to do this on the MDE app during my trip a few weeks ago, but it didn't work.

Is there a trick to this? Or is this just a myth?

It work. As soon as you tap in your third you can get anther and so on. In MK can sometime get some good ones like pirates or jungle cruise or buzz. Most days we can get 3-4 extra. May not be the mountains but sometimes they pop up. Other parks maybe 1 or 2 extras but not big ones. You just have to keep after it and refresh and modify.

I was at AK today and used our first 3 FP on Everest, Dino and Flight of Passage. I was able to pull another Flight of Passage and we rode again 30 min after we got off. Knowing the drop times helps, right at 1:01 a bunch of new FoP FP were available. We then pulled a Navi FP. I could have ridden FoP more times, I kept seeing it come up when I was refreshing but twice was enough for us. We were only there for 5 hours and did 5 rides, all of which had long standby waits (Everest, Dino and Navi were 50-65 min, FoP was 120 min). We waited maybe 10 min for each one using FP.

We were at Epcot for just Tuesday. There aren’t that many options there right now especially with test track down. We did manage to do everything with a fastpass while we were there except for Frozen. I just refreshed after each ride/experience. We rode frozen during the fireworks since it was EMH with a two minute wait. When we got off the ride the line was stretched all through Norway. My husband now thinks I’m the queen of knowing when and how to do rides at Disney.

We pull 4th, 5th, 6th etc every trip.
at AK we have gotten extra FOP, Safari, Everest, Dinosaur, basically everthing.
at Epcot we have pulled extra for Soarin a lot, Spaceship Earth took under a minute (while walking by it with a huge line ), Test Track, even FEA.
at HS, everything but SDD and at MK everything but SDMT ( we have seen them that we could have grabbed but only later at night when we planned to be at another park)
it usually takes a little patience and refresh and I only do it when waiting in line or eating, i try not to do it when walking so i don't bump into other guests with my face buried in the phone.

The known record is 21 FPs in a single day for a party of 2. The most we’ve ever done is 13 for a party of 5, but we rarely arrive much before 11 am.

We got 4th and 5th fps every day in November. Book your first three early in the day and then as soon as you tap #3 start checking. We got Pirates, ToT, Splash, Everest, Jungle, and Soarin. Every day there were choices - small world, spaceship, star tours popped up every time.

Can you elaborate on this? I tried searching various key words to find any threads on this and I was unsuccessful.
Is this something just in AK you know about?

I read about it here somewhere but I can't remember where. New fastpasseses get dropped into the system at some predictable times. AK drops at 1:01, 3:01 and 5:01. Each time I searched at those exact times, suddenly there were FoP fastpasses when previously there were none. Other parks have different drop times.
