Has anyone done the SW Predators Tour -- sharks and orcas? Worth the money for 1 hour, and good for an 8-y-o?

Thanks! We love SW and will make our third trip there as a part of our fourth WDW vacation this December; just trying to decide if this tour will be a good way to spice up our visit.

Last June, my parents and I did both the Polar Expedition and the Predators tours. For an hours-worth of behind-the-scenes stuff, it's not bad. Your child might like touching the white-spotted bamboo sharks (really docile creatures and very smooth). But I don't think he/she would like standing through the talking and walking. I don't know your child, though, so that means you have to gauge his/her tolerances and interests. Hope I have helped you. Sorry if I haven't.

We've done the Arctic and Predator Tours, loved the Arctic one and liked the Predator's until we had to walk near the edge of the shark tank. It just wasn't my thing. I was too busy holding on to daughter's and neice's hands to enjoy what they were saying. Plus I'M not crazy about looking DOWN into a deep shark tank :scared:

We did the Predator tour last year my son was 6 and he enjoyed it alot. My favorite part was going behind Shamu stadium and watching the orcas interact with the trainers. Listening to the orcas make noise was the highlight of my trip.
