We will be at DLR checking in on Nov 25 late and the 26th we will not have anything planned. DH has offered to stay with the kids so I can take my mom on a tour. She has never been to California and that is why we are going to DL instead of WDW as usual because we wanted her to go to a new place. I thought I should take her on a tour so she could at least see some of it. Has anyone done the Starline tours. I was thinking the Star home tour it goes by the sign and the theater and I think Rodeo drive and stuff so she would get a little taste of LA but we wouldn't have to drive or walk a ton. :) any suggestions or reviews. if it helps when we went to Chicago we rode the trolley for 3 days and just had a blast being together and looking at stuff. We are pretty easy going.

please move if I put in wrong thread sorry!!

I live in northern California and have been to Disneyland 50 times and Hollywood many times. We had never done any of the Hollywood tours. We just parked and walked It was only a few years ago that we did one of the bus tours as visiting relatives wanted to do it. We though it was great. They take you up into the hills to see some of the stars homes and then down into Beverly Hills for more. I personally like hearing about the old stars form the 20's - 60's but there was a nice mix. Some of the tours are bundles with a couple other attractions. We had seen the Hollywood museum in the Max Factor Building and loved it. It is not big but had a lot of neat things in it. I am sorry to say I can't remember which tour company we used. It might have been TMZ and the tour guide we had was great.

FWIW, I live in LA and go to improv shows at UCB (Upright Citizens Brigade, which, technically, is in Hollywood). It's always a blast. In fact, I'm headed there tonight. Message me if you're interested and I'll suggest some shows.

We did a movie stars tour but didn't think it was that great. This was the one that is included in the LA Go card. I think tours are really fun. I would check reviews on Trip advisor so you get a good tour.
