DGD, DD, and I just checked it out.. Gorgeous!! DD took some video footage of it..

This is crazy! Not that I "want" it, but the snow should be up here in NY - not where you guys are..

Crystal clear here tonight - but very, very cold.. Tonight we'll have below zero wind chills, but it's going to be even worse up in the Adirondacks.. Wind chills of minus 35 degrees!!! Whoa! Much as I love my place at the lake, I would NOT want to be there tonight..

Ah, yes, I saw it when I was running back home from our neighbor's party - it's clear skies and 2 degrees out It was beautiful Needless to say, we didn't look at it too long. Maybe I'll check to see if we can see it from a window in our nice, 70-degree house

The kids and I just came inside after looking for a while. It is so clear here right now that we had optimum viewing. If it werent for the frigid temps we would have looked longer!

I didn't have a clue about this until I got online tonight, but last night the moon must have been fairly bright too as I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't figure out why it was so "light" out.. I thought maybe we were having a snowstorm - because sometimes that will make it bright during the night, but nope.. Tonight it will probably be like sleeping during the day.. LOL..

For me, the most exciting part was seeing Mars.. Awesome!!

I can just imagine what this would look like shining over the lake tonight - but with wind chills of minus 35 degrees, I doubt there will be many people going outside to look at it..

it has been so bright the past two nights! So glad it was actually clear enough to see them!!!!!
