Have you changed?

I was looking through my old diary from 5th grade, and it struck me how little I've changed in my lifetime. Certainly I've matured over the years, but my basic personality and obsessions have not changed at all! In the diary, I mention numerous times how much I love to sing and how I want to do musical theatre. There's a pic of me from that year in class drawing a picture of Sleeping Beauty castle because the assignment was to draw a picture of our favorite place! lol. I also still love dolls and toys, and I'm still shy. Heck, I even look the same, only bigger.

So, have you changed much in your life?

Yes I have changed a lot and not much.. depending on your point of view.

5th grade for me was 30 years ago, I don't think I have many similar hobbies, likes or dislikes now compared to then. My goals are completely different, even where I live, where I want to live, how many children, what I do for a living, what I do for recreation....

I believe I still hold similar core values and beliefs, but not much else hasn't changed

I would say I have changed a great deal since I was in 5th grade. When I was your age though, I'm not sure if I had changed all that much.

I have changed a ton....especially in the last 13 years, kids do that to you...lol

Also, I think I have changed alot in the last year or so. I have a much different prespective on life, and new priorities. I hope it is for the better

I don't think I actually turned out the way I thought I would, and I'm not doing the career I just KNEW I would do, and don't live anywhere close to where I thought I would, but other than that, I know I still like a lot of the same basic things, and have the same faith, morals and attitudes on how to treat others etc. that I had then...but overall, I've changed a lot of the basic plan I had for my life....but Im pretty happy with what the outcome has been.

My friends from high school might know me from looks, but they would probably be very surprised that I got married young and had children and that I'm getting a divorce. They'd also be surprised that I'm dating an African-American (because I was SO under my dad's thumb in high school) but they probably wouldn't be surprised that he's a major football fan and a former college quarterback (there was a toss-up for what my senior superlative would be-Most Giggly or Most Likely to Marry a Football Player....Most Giggly won but I put the other in my yearbook under my senior quotes section.)
