Have you been to the movies at DTD?

We're gonna be down there when Star Wars comes out and was wondering if the AMC Theater in DTD was worth it. Is the theater really nice? I heard they had "love seat" style stadium seating, is that true?

We live locally so this is our closest movie theater. The theater is very nice. Star Wars should be playing in one of the BIG theaters so yes, you will have the "love seat style" seating. This is not "individual love seats" like you would think in your home, what it is is that the arm rest between the seats can be pushed back so that you can sit closer (or just have more room). The Big theaters are really nice as well, they have the lower level, the upper level and the mezzanine (although in the mezzanine, I tend to get a little ill as I feel it is too high). Anyway, defiently one of the nicer theaters in the area (and one of the nicer theaters I have been too).

We saw Attack of the Clones in the big theater. They have a special digital projector that doesn't use standard film reels. This theater is one of the very few in the SE United States that can do this. If you are going for anything but opening night, try to ask for this theater when purchasing tickets. Opening night is all ready sold out at 12:01 (six screens). Lucasfilm also adds scenes to the digital print.

We saw Haunted Mansion there when it first came out. Yes, I think it is a very nice theater as well.

This is a very nice theater. Huge but nice. We saw Spy Kids 3D a couple of years ago. I wish we had a theater this nice close to home. I might actually want to go to the movies more often.
