Did you enjoy your trip? Where did you stay and did you like your accomodations? Did you go to Silver Dollar City or other attractions?
We are planning a trip to Branson in early October with my sister-in-law, her husband, their 3 year old daughter. DH and I will have our 6 month old with us too. Please tell me about your Branson area trip. We are thinking about renting a condo on Table Rock Lake.

Do you know anything about the Eagle's View Cottages and Condos on Indian Point? We are thinking about staying there. Thanks!!! And would a 3 year old enjoy Silver Dollar City.

I was just in Branson a few weeks ago with family. I wasn't involved with the plan making, but had a good time with what we ended up doing. We stayed in a condo in Rockaway Beach (about 20 min from Branson).
Silver Dollar City was a LOT of fun. A clean, friendly, and pretty park. Very well themed with lots to see and do. The emphasis isn't on rides (though they do have some really fun ones!), but more shows and crafts. I want to go back on my own so I can spend more time there. We didn't have any children with us, so hopefully someone who's been with kids can let you know how the park is for a 3 year old.

We also went to the Showboat Branson Belle, which was a nice dinner show and the Dixie Stampede. The Stampede was a lot of fun, especially if you like horses. It was a fun trip, and I am definately planning on going again.
Have fun!

Thank you for the information! Anyone else?

I haven't been in a few years but used to go every year. Silver $ City should be a fun place for a 3 year old, there are shows to watch and people doing things like a saw mill and a smithy, if I remember right. There is also a cave and a steam train to ride.

In Oct. HOPEFULLY the trees will be colorful and it should be good weather. My dad also likes the Dixie Stampeed but I've never been.

I've been to Silver Dollar City. It is very clean, employees are friendly, and the food is pretty good. It's one of my top 5 parks. There's more shows than rides. There's a big kids area called Tom Sawyer's Island that has a big ball area (like the Curious George area at USF), water shooters, some flats, and a wicked kiddie coaster that has some good laterals. The coaster reminded me of the High Speed Thrill Coaster at Knoebel's. I didn't go with a kid, but I think a 3 year old could spend the whole day at Tom Sawyer's Island.

No, but recently in the last 2 weeks I have been getting bombarded with Branson pamphlets and books and brochures, etc.
