Have Weekend Crowds Been Just Crazy?

Heading to DL/DCA 6/17, 18, and 19. Have the crowds been just crazy with the anniversary this year, or have they been the regular "crazy" weekend over the summer crowds? Thanks

We were there today, I was surprised how light the crowds were. It was nowhere near PEAK periods like first weekend of 50th celebration or New Years day. But the weekend you are talking about is Schools Out Weekend for Millions of kids in the area.

We were there on Saturday and the crowds are getting noticably bigger than they were last month, but they aren't insane yet. Just come into the parks with a game plan. Plan to hit Splash Mountain early or fast pass it. On Saturday the line averaged 120 minutes. Also, do the the same for Indiana Jones. The lines was the LONGEST I have seen it since it opened at 180 minutes by 1 pm, with fast passes going out for 9-10pm.

We were there on Sunday 22 may our game plan be early, the park was sheduled for 8am opening, we were at the carpark booth at 7.15, no one there but a queue soon built up we finally were allowed in at 7.30 and were in the entrance area for 7.50 the lines for getting through into the parks were long but you definitly get a good head start on the rides choose a biggy like Indiana or Space then get as many rides as possible before an early lunch to beat those lines.Then plan to do as many as poss and get fast passes for any must dos. We left DL at about 1.30 in order to go to California Adventure park for the afternoon did Soarin TOT Screamin and the Aladdin show before returning to Dl for the fireworks also squeezed in Thunder and Matterhorn at this point,just make sure you get there early.
