Have we picked a bad week?

We've picked August 1st thru the 7th next year, and we're trying to decide whether to rent points and stay DVC for our anniversary next year or book through disney and hope for a deal to come out. I was looking on mousesavers at the historical information on discounts in the past, and it seems most of the deals come out for the second week in August instead of the first. It does list a package and room only deal for the general public though... does anyone know what the package and room only discount is for june thru august this year? We're looking at staying at the BWV if we rent points, but I'd love to stay at the Poly, or possibly one of the resorts we stayed at on our honeymoon last year. I don't mind playing the waiting game and booking the Poly now, then maybe switching to AKL or WL if no good discounts come out, but I'd be interested in the chances of getting a discount before I book. We really want to be there for our anniversary, but if it'll save us lots of money, we might be persuaded to switch to the following week.
