HAve to change time of picking up rental car ..price went up

I had to change the time I am picking up my rental car due to flight changes. I had gotten an excellent rate at Dollar using the entertain code but now when I go in to modify the times the price is doubled. Do you think I can just pick the car up earlier and drop iit off earlier and be charged the original amount? Any help would be appreciated.

Depends on how different your time change is....I once had a flight change called the company to see if I could shift pick up time a few hours...they said no proble....

I'd call and check before you change your current ressie.

For some reason when you try to modify a rental with dollar and national the price really changes.
Also since the entertain code isn't as good as it was before that could also have something to do with the price change.

I had the same thing happen to me. Luckily, I didn't modify the reservation, but attempted to make a new one and the price really went up (National). I called National and told them that my flight would be landing an hour later and they told me not to worry about it.

They hold the ressie for 24 hours, there will be no problem picking the car up late or early and dropping it off at the appropriate time.
You should call, just to put your mind at ease, or, look at the FAQs on the website.
Just DON'T modify that ressie, as you have seen, it can be an awful shock.

I usually book the rental car for pickup several hours after my expected arrival, I hazve never had a problem with picking it up early.
