Unfortunately we have to cancel an upcoming trip to Aulani. The reservation is made from all banked points that will expire shortly thereafter if not used. I have been a long time DVC member, but have never "rented" a reservation or deposited anything to RCI. Can someone tell me where I could get more information about a RCI deposit? Is it hard to book trips with them in the future and how long does this keep your points alive? Do they have any pet friendly resorts in the U.S.? Trying to figure out what to do. I have a little over 60 days to do something and am very stressed. Thanks for any help or advice.

I'm so sorry to read this - you probably don't need this stress in addition to the stress of whatever is causing this cancellation. On the member website, the information about RCI is under the Plan a Vacation tab, at https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/destinations/list/world-rci/rci/. Points can be deposited to RCI at least 45 days before expiration and are good for 2 years from deposit. I know there are pet-friendly resorts in RCI, but unfortunately not all RCI resorts can be booked with DVC points - you can look at the directory via the View All RCI Resorts link in the upper right corner of the webpage.

I haven't rented a reservation either, but hopefully others will be along soon to offer guidance on that.

Best wishes!
