Have to call instead of online ADR?

Why is it that sometimes the online ADR page says "no times available," but other times it says: Please call 407-WDW-DINE to make a reservation.

If I wanted to call, I would have done that instead of looking online. ???

Ugh. I found your thread while searching. My question exactly! Is it certain restaurants?
I made ALL my ADRs online in Feb, including these. If they are mostly DUI wouldn't it be better if I played with times myself?

I know that half my ADR's needed CC holds and MDE was not up to that, so I had to call. Not sure if that is what is causing your problem.

Could be because I've found that if I can't go through the mde app, I can book online on the web page... Unless there are server issues, lol.

As a PP mentioned, any chance that the restaurants you couldn't make the ADR for are either character, dinner shows, dining packages, or Signatures?

If you going through WaltDisneyWorld.com using a internet browser, then that's odd. However, if you are using the MDE app, then it's not surprising. The MDE app does not have the ability to accept credit cards, so anything that requires a CC for a guarantee or pre-pay will tell you to call for availability. It doesn't mean that anything is available, it just means that the MDE cannot be used to make an ADR.

If you are trying to book an ADR that has a credit card guarantee, it will not let you do that on the mobile website- it will tell you to call. You can; however, do that on the full website. If you are using a mobile device; IPAD, tablet, you just have to get it to the full website. I've found that the way to do that is to google Disneyword, but then when it comes up in google to click one of the subheadings like "explore activities" instead of the main link. If I don't do that, I can't get it to switch to the full site.

Yes, It was the app. Now I know. I started on the full site in my laptop but kept having server issues but found that they went smoothly on the app... until I hit something needing the cc guarantee. It didn't occur to me that it was the cc, I was afraid it was the popularity of the spot making it full.
