or who have been to WDW recently since Disney started the free shuttling...

1. Does the bus have to be full before the shuttle will leave the airport?
2. Does your luggage go on the the same bus w/you or seperate bus?
3. When you are arriving @ WDW, do you have to go to all of everyone else's resorts w/them or does the bus just go to one resort, yours?
4. We recvd our new luggage tags, are they all the same? my dad's and ours are the same, but are everyone's the same color or do they differ per resort?
5. We only recvd one luggage tag/person, what do you do w/your extra luggage you will have w/you?

Thanks for any help you guys can give...

I used the DME last week and will try and answer your questions as best as I can.

They have you check in first in one general line at the airport and then are directed to a line to your resort to wait for the bus. We waited about 15 minutes (inside in the ac) and then they load the bus. Our bus was then loaded with people going to a couple of different resorts. Luckily, POP was the first stop.

Your luggage does not go on the same bus as you. There is room under the bus for your carry-ons. We landed around 9:30 am. We were at POP around 10:45 and our bags were delivered to the room around noon. Bring a change of clothes in your carry-on if you plan on heading right out to the parks.

Not sure about the color of the tags. Ours were yellow and said POP Century on them with the name of the person who booked the reservation and the name of the person bags preprinted on them. Also we each got two tags. Call and maybe they will send more.

Hope this helps

thanks for the info, yes it helped greatly!

Not necessarily. They know about how many people are arriving when and going where; they won't make you wait 45 minutes hoping the bus will fill up.

It goes on a separate van/truck. As a previous poster said, your carry-ons can go in the bus' luggage hold. You can take a carry-on with you on the bus, but it can't take up a seat, it must fit on the floor in front of you or on the overhead shelf.

Like a previous poster said, it'll be up to a few of them (up to 4). On the return trip, however, an empty bus picked me up at CBR; it was 3/4 full and went directly to the airport.

My guess is you received the generic WDTC luggage tags, hard plastic (perhaps blue with Tinkerbell on it?) with a clear rubber-like tie, and a removable blank card for your name and so on. THESE ARE NOT DME TAGS. The DME tags are sticky paper, the same exact type of paper that gets put on your luggage at the airport when you check your bags. The tags are sent as part of a whole DME booklet. When I got them in the mail, before I opened the envelope I didn't think the tags were in it because I was expecting something 3-dimensional, not some flat paper that was just another page in a booklet. Your DME tags have the name of your resort, the name of the person who made the WDW reservation, and the same of the individual the tag is intended for. The tags are printed two per page, so I don't know that it's even possible for only one to come per person.

As to whether there are several different colors, I have no idea. Since the bags are pulled behind the scenes at MCO, I never got to see other people's tags except at my resort, and since they were at my resort they would logically be the same color as mine, so I can't answer that question.
