Have SlimFast products improved their taste over the years?

I am considering giving SlimFast a try. I tried it over 10 years ago, and realized people lost weight on it, because they must of vomitted after drinking it. The taste was HORRIBLE.

Where are they now when it comes to taste? Yummy? Or still "gag it down" gross?

I think it taste like chocolate milk. They just came out with the new Optima mix, and you can stir it with a spoon. Some of the snacks are great but some of the meal bars are a bit dry. My DH likes still mixes his in the blender, we get it at Sam's for just under $11 a can that makes 34 servings.

I'm loving the optima mix. I can't stand the cans and must mix it myself but it's yummy to me!

I bought some of the cans a couple of months ago and most are still sitting in my fridge. They don't taste too bad, but there is a horrible aftertaste that I just can't stand! Maybe I should try the powder kind.

When I would do the slim fast I would get the french vanilla and put a couple drops of either vanilla or almond extract in it, and I thought it tasted awesome. I actually looked forward to drinking them!

I like the cans and not the mix. Never tried it 10 years ago, so I can't compare. I like the chocolate one and the strawberry one. The only problem I have with doing slimfast, is after about 2 weeks, I want to chew something again, not just drink breakfast and lunch again!

I like the cans too, especially the Milk Chocolate.

I also tried their smoothies (some sort of berry flavor). It was good... tasted very much like a Dannon Frusion Smoothie.

Their blueberry muffin meal bar is good (tastes much like a Nutri-Grain bar) as is the "cinnamon bun" flavor meal bar.

I'm addicted to the Chocolate Shakes from a can, they're so good! The Cookie Dough Meal Bars are good too

I have always liked the mocha....I used a blender and added either the water or milk(cannot remeber I drink alot of protein drinks) but MY trick is to add 1 ice cube before blending...it makes it nice and cold!!!! I just tastes so much better!

I do not like the cans....I use the powder...

100% agree with this. If I'm not mixin it- I cant drink it....

I use a mixer though- a little tornado type contraption...must have been on QVC because my X MIL got it for me.

I really like the cappucino flavor. I prefer them from a can blended with crushed ice.
