Have Pin codes become discounts open to the public?

If they have in the past, how long after the PIN codes have been sent out do they open to the public?

Do all pin codes open up or just random ones?

It's random. There's no way to know what they will open up for the general public. None of the late fall/winter free dining pin codes came out for the general public last year.

Very rarely do they open the codes up to the public because they do not need to. They allow so many rooms booked at the discounted rates and once they are gone they are gone.

I would think they would have a deal. 12/05 and 12/07 I was able to get a package discount, not using a "pin"

I'm not sure about all of the general public, but if you had a disney visa card you could get the free dining offer (based on availability). This offer came out in MId-Sept. However, there were not all of these other PIN offers floating around at the same time though, so whos to say if it will happen again this year. I am hoping though

Last September Disney Destinations sent out some emails that offered free dining pin codes for very select dates in October, November and December, 9/28-10/11, 11/9-11/22 and 12/14-12/20 to be exact . These emails were random, not for the general public, and the codes were non-transferrable. About two weeks after that Disney Visa sent out a free dining code for their card holders for the same select dates in October, November and December. Those pin codes were not part of the regular Fall Dining promotion and there was no general public fd code offered for any of those dates.

Yes. You can call apply any discounts that come out to an existing reservation if they have availabilty at your resort for that particular discount.
