Have old park hopper tickets. Can we still do MYW dining?

We purchased 5 day park hopper passes for 2 adults, 2 children from Ticketmania just before tickets were changed to MYW.

Our resort is booked. Are we able to participate in the dining plan?

I think the answer would be no. The dining plan can only be booked as part of a package, tickets and room together. Sorry

You would have to switch your room to a package (paying rack rate) and puchase at least a one-day, one-park ticket for each person.

Isn't there a form of AAA in Canda? If so, you could use that to get a discount on your room.

If you're willing to buy everyone in your party a one day base ticket, then you would be able to book the dining package.

We'll definitely have to look at the numbers and our meal planning to see if it is worth buying 1 day park tickets for all of us. I know that our unused parker hopper pluses will not expire but we're unsure when our next trip will be after this one.

At this point we are paying rack rate for AKL and our flight is more than double the cost of what we used to pay before we moved. We missed out on the MYW tickets by about a week.
