Can you get food items at CS places customized as in "please leave off the ___" or "please put the ___ on the side" ? I've heard of people doing it for TS requests (you can do it for TS, right ?), but didn't know if you'd have that flexibility with CS.

Well, I know that invariably at every CS restaurant that we eat at, DH gets his cheeseburger WITHOUT cheese. Never a problem!

But if it is busy you may have to wait a little extra time for your order.

I was at the Electric Umbrella back in Feb and the woman in the line next to me asked for the sandwich without ________ (sorry I can't remember exactly what it was) and was told they could leave it off but it would delay her order about 15mins. She said forget it the kid could just pick it off.

I have found they are like any fast food place or table service place back home, never had a problem substituting things, getting special order items, etc.

Just like sandwich shops at home, they often have premade only sandwiches that aren't able to be changed but they will tell you that.

You did hear correctly about the TS restaurants as well. You can always ask to hold the _____ and they will if at all possible.

Sometimes it's not possible. Some of the sandwiches/wraps/salads are pre-made and I've been told no more than once. I'm sure if it's just a burger or chicken sandwich it wouldn't be a problem, though.

I have asked for no mayoniase before on certain sandwiches and it has never been a problem , but we are never there during busy times
