Have "Dead Man's Chest" DVD? Need your help!

I don't know if I'm going completely crazy and just hearing this wrong, but at one point it's like the sound goes way down. I got the DVD for Christmas and noticed this the first time I watched so I exchanged it. I opened the new one and watched it last night and it did it again in the same part! So now I don't know if I'm just hearing it wrong and it's supposed to be like this. . .or if maybe a bad batch went out. It's the 2 Disc version, bought at Target.

It's a little over an hour and a half into the movie right after the Kraken destroys the ship that has picked up Will. When the DVD cuts back to the scene on The Flying Dutchman when Davy Jones says "There are no survivors" it immediately cuts the audio down much much lower. It's only a few seconds. . . but enough to annoy me, LOL.

Is it supposed to sound like that? It just sounds so quiet and muffled. . . doesn't sound right.

We just watched it for the first time this past Sunday and I noticed it too. Don't know why it's there either .

At least I can rest easy knowing I'm not going crazy!

Now just to figure out if it's *supposed* to do that, or if I have to keep exchanging it for a good copy, LOL.
