Hello,
I'm taking my daughter (currently age 9) and myself on a much-anticipated Disneyland trip next summer (2014) and have been obsessively trying to figure out any and all ways to make the trip special.
As a result, I've got a few specific requests out to individual DISigners, but have a request that I'd like to make of the general group.
I found a ready-to-go DISign in someone's PhotoBucket (didn't think to keep track of whose) that is a "letter" from Tinkerbell saying "Hope You Have a Magical Day!". It's got a Mickey head shape, Tink, and a Disneyland logo. SO COOL!!!!
It's occurred to me that I'd like to present a little "Have a Great Day" sort of letter to my daughter each morning of our trip... I imagine something similar to the "invitations" that many do, but it wouldn't have any specific plans listed for each day. Just a little "happy Disneyland day" sort of message from a different character (or group of characters) each day...
We'll be at the DLR for at least 7 days (yippee!), so I'd love several. Maybe a design or two from a few DISigners??

Size: flexible, but I'm envisioning about 4" x 5" (landscape &/or portrait)
Tidbit that might be interesting to allude to/mention in one or two of the letters: I'm "walking" (virtually--by tracking my miles walked) to Disneyland & back before we go. That's 1170 miles each way. (750+ so far!!) I've been out of shape for many years, so this is a big deal for me (& my super-supportive daughter)
Characters we really like (in order of "importance"):
* Mickey (our trip is heavily themed on Mickey--as is her upcoming 10th birthday)
* Tigger & Roo
* Mike, Sulley, Boo
* Lightning McQueen & Mater
* Tiana
* Rapunzel
* Stitch
* Nemo
* Br'er Rabbit, Br'er Bear, Br'er Fox
* Marie (kitten from Aristocats)
* Doc McStuffins
* Rafiki
If possible, I'd also love something more general for the days we'll be visiting friends/family in the LA area. We'll be visiting:
* Auntie Joy, Mike, Olivia, & Buttons
* Harumi, Elliot, Nolen, & Oliva
As we're not planning to go until next summer (unless I can magically pull everything together before then--doubtful), there's not really a hurry. However, I will admit that I'd love to finish my planning soon, as the longer I keep the "Disneyland Planning" door open in my brain, the more I'm obsessing and the more MONEY I'm spending... If I can call it good before too long, I'll save a lot of $ and quite a lot of sanity.
