Have a few questions about birthday & honeymoon....

Ok, we are leaving on Saturday for our honeymoon. Should we buy the honeymoon headgear and wear it while we are there? Is there any "extras" that you get? Also, on the 15th it will be my birthday. I was gonna get and wear the birthday button I've heard people talking about. Is that for adults as well as children and where exactly do you get those from? Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

the bride and groom mouse ears are cute, but the bride hat wouldn't fit my head!!! i don't think my head is that unusually large or anything since i've never had a problem with any hats (including regular mouse ears before). the top hat also barely fit my dh. so for our honeymoon we wore bride and groom pins that they sell instead. we picked them up at the pin kiosk in epcot, but i'm not sure if they still sell them.

the birthday pins are for everyone, adults and children, so go ahead and get one!!! i wish we would celebrate my birthday in wdw sometime but it's right around thanksgiving (and sometimes thanksgiving day), so i doubt we'll ever go then.

Thanks so much for the info. I'm gonna look for the buttons instead. I took my son for his birthday-it is on the 23rd of Nov, so his falls on Thanksgiving too sometimes. We had fun that week but it was crowded that day. I didn't know about the birthday pins then or we would have gotten him one. Thanks again for the info.......Cindy

Congratulations! I'd buy the Mouse ears! They are just so cute and seeing them makes old married folks like me smile.

My DH and I celebrated our Honeymoon at WDW. Yes, there are perks from wearing the Disney bride and groom hats! For example, at Cinderella's Royal Table Restaurant we received a set of champagne flutes (boxed). Other dining areas also gave us little trinkets. Also, any boat ride the cast members gave us our own boat regardless of the line. All of the CM's offered congratulations.
However, the hats can be painful!! They are not the most comfortable for the guys! My DH had a huge welt on his forehead! Ouch! They also sell bride and groom pins which we eventually switched over to.

I just wanted to say congratulations.
I've seen lots of brides and grooms in the Mickey hats and even if you don't get any special treats, you will get a lot of smiles and special wishes from other guests.

Make sure you have the information on your reservation if your staying on site and not using the honeymoon package. If you are staying off site then have them tack the info onto your PS's. Congratulations!!!!!

I celebrated my birthday there, so go ahead and get the button!! You will get lots of hugs from the characters and happy birthdays from the cm's also!!! Have a blast!!!

In Sept. 2000 it was my honeymoom and also Birthday!! I was turning 34 and I wore my button all day!! This year we are going for our anniversary and my birthday again. I plan on getting my button and i will be turning 37!!

i was in WDW last week and wore my birthday button. It was a lot of fun! i even got sung to by CMs on Space Mountain during the ride-it was very cool

for all of the information. My DH has a BIG head and wears a very large size hat, so from what you're telling me, we probably need to go with the buttons. I'll check them out while I'm there.
